I would give it minus if I could! Scammers! I paid to register my rescue 6 years ago and just found out in Nov that she wasn’t registered to me!! No idea what even made me ask my vet to check her chip but I’m so glad I did! Check your your animals chip as it costs nothing and gives peace of mind

Scam
This website came up when I searched the name of the microchip provider. It claims to be the official register and charges to register pets on it, but isn't officially recognised. Our missing cat was still unregistered for a few more days until I found the correct website. Their own database isn't officially used or accessed by anyone.

Avoid
Avoid - scam. Kept emailing to say expired, went to the vets for my dogs check up and rang up, said we have a week pay or it will become deactivated? I registered my dog over 4 years ago! Very scary that they have my details. Avoid at all cost.

heartless scam
I rehomed my dog from private owners who gave me the petlog registration but when I went on line to update the details I ended up on their (PETCHIP)website. Thanks google for promoting scam websites. This was 5 years ago so my dog has been running around with a useless microchip. And this scam website has my details . Now asking me to pay again.

petchip.info and petchip.network are…
petchip.info and petchip.network are all part of the same huge scam. See the reviews on petchip.network and their scam renewal emails too. Absolutely useless website that doesn't register with any of the real microchip databases so your pets are unprotected.Stay away from both. Paid $25 and I got scammed.

Registrations do not appear on UK databases
Pet registrations with this company do not appear on UK pet databases, so that at best it is useless and at worst a scam.

Complete scam
Complete scam. Just trying to get money out of loving pet owners.Got a message today saying my pets chip is about to expire BUT she died 3 years ago and chips DON'T expire!!I registered her death with the authentic chip company so Petchip aren't even up to date with records that they must be stealing from others.Don't believe any emails you get saying the chip is about to expire - they just want your money and you get nothing in return!I know they don't ask for much money but if thousands of people believe the emails that adds up to a huge sum.

WARNING - PETCHIP IS A SCAM
I had an email today from Petchip advising that my dog’s microchip registration had expired and that he would be an unregistered dog on affiliated databases. It seemed legit as it had my full name, email address, phone number and home address as well as my dog’s name and correct microchip number. Firstly, I thought it strange as I’d had dogs over the past 30 years and none of their chips expired. Secondly, I have my dog’s sister, chipped the same time, and I didn’t get an email saying hers had expired. I did click the link as it had shown all my personal details but when it asked for £19.95 I knew it must be a scam and since then have seen many online posts confirming it. Thankfully, I had my wits about me but anyone taken off guard may fall for the scam, especially if they don’t know where their dog is registered (mine is with Pettrac although I didn’t know at the time). What’s worrying me now is that someone has all my personal details and may use them fraudulently. EDIT: ALL PET OWNERS PLEASE READI contacted Pettrac to say I think their website had been hacked as Petchip had all my details. On checking my dogs’ chip numbers (5-years old brother and sister) they said both my dogs were still registered with the breeder as the owner. It was the breeder who unwittingly registered them on a fake website ie Petchip. Please check you are the registered owner of your pets. Just paid £24 to register them in my name.

Microchip renewal
Had 2 emails from petchip info stating I had to renew registered microchip for my 2 dogs @ £26.99 eachI thought this request was strange as I thought the registration was for life. However I did go ahead and paid.Never again as I have since learned this is a scam

Beware - they have my info but seems a scam
I had noted down a Petchip.info number for my dog from 7 years ago. I am moving house and needed to get into my account to change my address. But the site said I had to pay again. So I did. And now none of their emails are working and all of these reviews show it is a scam. What is strange though is that they had all of my information showing when I input my microchip number which makes me very nervous.

Beware!
Received an email advising my dogs microchip registration had expired and he will show up as an unregistered dog on all affiliated websites & databases unless I pay to reregister. The email had my contact number and my dogs microchip number. I thought it was weird that I had received this email as everything is registered to my wife, sure enough its a scam.

Petchip is a scam
Received an email from Petchip saying my registration expired. I thought it was strange as I thought it was for life. Anyway I put all the details in to pay by PayPal but Petchip offered a delux registration for $42 instead of the $28 initially requested. When I tried to put my payment through at the standard rate of $28 it bypassed my request and tried to put it through on deluxe at $42 on PayPal. I nearly clicked on to pay it by PayPal but decided to exit the payment and Googled. Google told me Petchip is a scam.

Total scam
Total scam, I registered my boy with pet-log years ago, and no worries at all, Today I get an email from these criminals explaining my registration was expiring, I logged in and entered my dogs chip, and they have all my details including address, I have never ever been on the site in my life and never once registered with them. They went on to ask me to renew my membership for £38. Total scam.

Scam website
I was registering my pets ID chip, thinking I was on the correct website. I am not sure how but they have managed to shuffle their webpage in front of a major chip supplier and registration website. In the uk it is free to register a chip!I was just about to pay and realised something was off. What a scam!

DO NOT PAY ANY MONEY TO THESE PEOPLE !
From what I've read on here it seems that this lot are still 'at it'.I have been advised by 'identibase 'that these people are NON DEFRA COMPLIANT and not approved by Government. I have just checked by dogs records and it seems that they persuaded me to pay £17.00 for 'registration' in September 2020 (when our dog was already registered with identibase) I was a new dog owner so somewhat naive. It seems there is an easy way to make money out of unsuspecting owners because they have just emailed me again asking for £18.95 "because my registration has expired " Wow what a world we live in. DO NOT RESPOND !

Same here trying to get refund from Paypal…but that want a valid link…. I have spoken to Paypal and they have logged a refund now. It’s is obviously a scam and hope people check this site before parting with their money. I have emailed the company and never had a reply back regarding refund or being deleted from their data base. Any decent company would have responded.
