Terrible Customer Service and lack of helpfulness
UPDATE on FEB 22, 2019:Pariwana Hostel reached out to me, apologized and refunded the charge so updating the review and rating - thanks.Original Review:I didn't stay here so will not comment on the facilities, only on how this hostel treats its guests. I booked for five nights (Feb 5 to 10) expecting that my Cusco-Nasca bus will arrive on time in Nasca, I can do the Nasca flight, and take bus to Lima and check-in. Cusco-Nasca bus was delayed 6 hours due to road-closure because of rock-fall so I couldn't get to Nasca on-time for flight and hence couldn't get to Lima the same day. I asked hostel to take this into consideration and not charge me for the night of 5th Feb. No go by hostel. I told them if they want to charge for the missed night, I will cancel remainder of my reservation. They preferred this (!) so I cancelled the four nights and found a better place to stay. So, my advice: stay away from this hostel if you care for consideration, respect and value for money. For them, guests are NOT guests, only money-making machine. It's also possible that they sold my bed to someone else and made twice the money - from me and from one who used it that night.I would NOT use Pariwana Hostels anywhere anymore - Lima, Cusco, or Santiago. Avoid them like plague for your own financial well-being.
