just as shady as everyone else- they were not truthful about the whole moving experience and led me to believe one thing when it was going to be another. They lied about their eta to my storage unit and clearly were in Las Vegas when they said they were in St George Utah. They may have been the ones to damage my stuff
Monument Valley Moving & StorageZERO STARS, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! I have pictures, text messages to prove this company is nothing but lies. The representative that I was dealing with, made me believe and trust him., Hquoted me $4, 062.00, I gave him a list with measurements on everything that needed to be hauled. And then I added a few things to the list, took a picture of it, sent it to the representative, asked him if there was going to be more of a charge. Charge. The reply back was there is absolutely no more charge. The items that we're going to be hauled that he had measurements of, were in a house fire. The Restoration company was able to restore all my items except for my bedding. I went out and bought new mattresses and put them in the storage unit. We tried to cancel the move and tried to get our money back for the deposit, with text messages stating that a client can cancel anytime. That is not true, they sent me a message dating that I am unable to get my deposit back. I never received any emails with a contract with any information at all. Where they had quoted me $4,062 and I already paid $1,075, I did not want to lose that, so we set up for them to come pick up my stuff. Stuff. The driver stated that they would be there in 1 hour and 40 minutes. I waited around 53 minutes with no communication from the driver and how far out they were. When the driver got there with two helpers there was a total of three, and they had one that sat in the back of the box when they open the door. The driver, I could not even understand, as he was from another country and he climbed out with an attitude and he was very disrespectful. The first thing the driver did because I have my mattresses in the front and I had two smaller tool boxes sitting in the front, as the driver stepped on my tool boxes and I watched it bow, so he could see over the mattresses., he said I cannot haul this stuff for this amount. Then he filled out an invoice and handed it to me, he says I will have to wrap these items that are not boxed to protect them and that's going to cost more money. When? Also, in a message with the representative, he stated everything that was included, and that is labor, packaged and wrapped from the unit to the front door. The driver handed me the paper for $11,777.00 that is what they could do the move for. I immediately tried calling the representative that I have been dealing with, he never answered his phone, he never responded back with messages. The representative ignored me. I then contacted a person that had messaged me the day before to set up the move, by the name of Tamika. I sent her screenshots of all the messages between myself and the representative telling her that I wanted my refund back and that I could not afford $12,000 when they had already quoted me what they did. Still the representative has not gotten a hold of me, and no one from the company has., I have requested a full refund and I stated in the message that there shall be no other charges. And that I was going to post on social media what this company is all about. And I did forget to add to this post after the driver got finished stepping on my toolbox, he's lucky that it didn't break, then he decides to light up a cigarette and he is walking around in front of my storage unit and the smoke is all going inside all over my new furniture. This driver had absolutely no respect for anyone's property. And the driver States, I'm just a driver. That's the problem, I told him I was not happy with what he had. Just done, And he looks down at my toolbox with his footprints all over it, and says it's fine, it didn't break. I told the Ukrainian driver, that wasn't the point. I told him to have respect for other people's belongings and to be more than just a driver. I still have heard nothing from monument Valley. I included The representative, my attorney, and the dispatch, as I have received absolutely no emails from this company besides my receipt. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, And this company could have done this in the past under a different name, and then just turn around and file bankruptcy and open a new company under a different name. They are crooked. And it's really sad because now absolutely no one is trusted. Thanks too "MONUMENT VALLEY STORAGE & MOVING". I had 692 cubic inches, and I asked them several times. What is that in footage, never did I get a reply. After the movers left, because I told them absolutely not. I would not use their service. I took a 8' x 20' (6' h) And loaded my items in it and they fit just fine. As I stated I have requested a full refund, and absolutely no one is getting back with me. Please people, do your research, as I thought it was five stars but there weren't a lot of reviews. This world world and the people that are working in it are out to screw you. And this is why no one is trusted!!!!! Monument Valley, you better do the right thing.
I’m not sure who the other people that are rating them well are, but from my experience and many others that I have read from other sites such as yelp - have been horrendously negative. To the point where, in my opinion, they could never do a good job.
