My first experience at IW
I’m sharing this review to offer an honest perspective on our recent experience at Investment Watches.My wife had been looking at a Bulgari Tubogas online for some time, and we decided to stop by the store. We didn’t have an appointment, and we were assisted by Steven, who was kind, welcoming, and professional throughout our visit.We were fully aware prior to purchasing that the watch did not include original papers or box, and that was factored into both our expectations and the price. From that standpoint, everything was transparent.That said, there were a few areas where the experience could be elevated.There wasn’t much information provided about the specific model itself. I understand it’s not a Rolex or one of the more commonly requested pieces, but when purchasing a luxury watch — regardless of brand — having deeper knowledge about the model, its background, or technical details would certainly enhance the experience.Additionally, when discussing potential bracelet adjustments or how those modifications could be handled, there wasn’t much clarity provided on the process. Even if adjustments aren’t done in-house, guidance or insight would add reassurance when purchasing a piece like this.Lastly, the presentation at delivery felt underwhelming. The watch was handed to us in a simple plastic case with Chinese typography, which honestly felt out of place for a luxury purchase. It created a slight disconnect — it momentarily made us question whether we were buying from a watch investment company or from a secondary market setting.Overall, the experience wasn’t bad. The price made sense for us, and we’re genuinely happy with the piece itself — which is ultimately what mattered most. However, refining the details around product knowledge, service guidance, and presentation would significantly elevate the overall client experience.Sharing this as constructive feedback.
