Fraudulent health insurance
I was directed to purchase this helath insurance via the state health insurance marketplace. The representative I spoke to on the phone lied and told me I was purchasing an Aetna health insurance plan. Innovative Partners, aka Marpei Health, aka MultiPlan, all denied claims for fraudulent reasons. They did not cover my infants covid / flu testing during a bout of RSV, leaving us with a $1700 bill. It's ILLEGAL to deny coverage for pediatric care in my state. I set up conference calls with my doctors office and the random call center representatives, they instructed the doctors office to refile the claim. A month later, I would receive another denial of claim. It's been three years, the doctors office has filed the claim at least a dozen times at this point. Avoid this insurance company, it seems they will just deny your coverage until you give up.

Scammy nonsense
Scammy nonsense. They pretend to be part of other insurance companies to trick people into signing up, it's very hard to cancel and near impossible to get them to refund even when they keep charging you after you cancel.

Do not sign up with innovative partners…
Do not sign up with innovative partners !! Claims do not get paid. I have had 3 invoices in limbo for 8 months. Cannot get a straight answer. All claims need to be sent via mail and cannot be sent electronically. Customer support claims there are no mangers to speak to

SCAMMMM!!! STAY AWAY
I had a terrible experience with Innovative Partners. When I called to cancel my plan, they kept asking me over and over why I wanted to cancel, as if I needed a reason. The simple answer? I didn’t want it and I wasn’t satisfied. My doctor can't accept this plan, and now I’m being forced to pay over $200 out of pocket every month for an essential injection. To make matters worse, a rep told me I would have to pay a $7,000 penalty fee for canceling... which is doesn't even make sense. You're legally allowed to cancel insurance, and I was still within the 30-day window. This company is definitely a scam and just stay away from them. My advice? Contact your bank immediately to dispute the charge and report them to the Better Business Bureau (bbb.org). If you're looking to get insurance like Aetna, Medicaid, or Cigna, etc. go directly through the official company website or Healthcare.gov. Avoid third-party brokers like this one, because they often sell limited coverage plans that don’t meet real healthcare needs and then make it difficult or impossible to cancel.

DO NOT use this company!
DO NOT use this company!! They lied to us about what coverage we would have with First Health Network! All they wanted was the money for a 30 day trial, and we can cancel anytime. Yea, right!! I’ve been trying to cancel & get a refund, they keep hanging up on me whenever I get transferred to a “cancellation agent.”I have tried calling 7 times! I have a dispute in with my credit card company because of them. Horrible customer service!

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY
I have been calling these people for 8 months over and over. They have been delaying my claims for over 2 years, all the while telling me they are covered and I have to just wait. I have been told to refile 3 times, to 3 separate addresses, which I have done. This is a corrupt and disorganized company and NO ONE should give them any of your money.

ZERO STARS for Innovative Partners …
Innovative Partners (IP) deserves 0 stars as an administrator of the Multiplan network because I've had several negative experiences since December 2024:1. Customers have only one way to reach them: One "customer service" phone number for service and claims. This is a joke! Their representatives are clearly a third party that cannot resolve basic concerns! I called back 4 times on 4/9 morning and my call was dropped twice. This, after I was placed on hold!! One of those times I had added a provider's billing representative on the call so I could be helped with a claim. The IP rep dropped the call after placing us on the 2nd hold! Besides, I had initiated the 3-way call to resolve a claim. 2. IP does not provide customers with the ability to submit claims online. Instead, they insist that the healthcare providers send them details of the visit directly, even if the provider is out of network with IP and can only submit details to me, the patient! IP claims department says that they will not accept paperwork (including details of service sent by a healthcare provider to a customer) if it is sent by the customer. This is a ridiculous policy because they make it impossible for me to use my PPO plan! 3. I recently signed up for upper tier plan coverage (from Optimum 3 to 5) due to lack of coverage for certain benefits, and did not realize what a nightmare it would be! I was later told by multiple reps that my claims for that month (March) would not be compensated for regular doctor visits since my new plan would only be starting April 1st. However, they continued to charge me for the entire month! Later, I was told by a rep that they would cover only urgent care and emergency visits in March! 4. Every time I call (even if I call back immediately after they drop a call) their representatives ask ALL these questions: ACC #, FULL NAME, HOME ADDRESS, EMAIL, PHONE NUMBER. This is crazy considering they are recording every conversation and have all the information anyway! (The other financial companies I work with do not ask half as many questions besides account #).5. Their online portal is only good for one-way communication in a manner that benefits them. There are no details of claims being processed etc.6.They send emails only to inform of changes to plan. However, they provide no way to download this information. Innovative Partners is an entity that exists solely to make money off their customers. They are thoughtless and self-serving in their businesses practices, and they need to be stopped via the legal system!

This place is a complete scam
This place is a complete scam. They charged me for 2 months prior to when the coverage was supposed to start. Refused to refund, refused to allow me to speak to a supervisor, and were unable to provide proof of contract date. The list of doctors they provided were not of accepting doctors even though they claimed they were covered. Their portal takes you to a blank page when trying to access providers. I was charged double what was agreed on and I was never even able to use the coverage.

No good!
Not even my annual check up was covered. I called so many times for invoices that are being charged and not covered and even had an associate that said she can only assist with two invoices.Last but not least, I’m the one who called setting this up and “they choose” to add my husband as primary, discrimination completely!! I can’t believe it’s 2025 and we are dealing with companies who allow this behavior.

AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!
It's the worst insurance company I have ever had. I was sold this insurance from a broker and was told that the plan they were selling me covered therapy and prescription meds. I got a letter in the mail from this company saying I'm responsible for the full amount ($1,260) of the therapy costs because therapy isn't covered. I WAS LIED TO. There is no way to cancel the plan online. You HAVE to call customer service to cancel your plan and they are extremely difficult to get ahold of. I called my bank and said I lost my credit card (so that I would get a new credit card number) but they were still able to charge my new credit card (I never gave them the new card information). So I finally had to spend HOURS contacting them and I was yelled at by their customer service agents and hung up on twice. I only got to cancel the third time trying to reach them. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.Also, the way they "cover prescriptions" is they give you a coupon card, similar to GoodRx, and the prescriptions were still very expensive.AND THE WORST THING is that the MAXIMUM coverage they would cover in a year is $1,950 if I used 100% of my benefits, but my annual premium with them is $2567.64!!! You would save money never having this insurance to begin with and just being uninsured!!! But they also never approve claims! This company is STEALING your money. FRAUDULENT COMPANY.UPDATE!!!It turns out that they're not even licensed in Illinois and shouldn't have even sold me insurance to begin with!

This insurance company is a scam
This insurance company is a scam. They deny ALL claims. They are a complete fraud! Avoid them at all cost. They are not even licensed in California and sold me the policy anyway. When I found out they are not even licensed I asked for a refund and they said no! In order to get a refund you have to do it within 30 days of getting the policy yet they are not even licensed in California!!!!!!

I signed up for Innovative partners and was taken for 1500 dollars over 3 months.
I signed up for Innovative partners and never received any medical cards the second month was double charged and was told I was going to credited which never happened. Called multiple times and was assured I would get medical cards and never happened. These people are crooks and liars . Would not recommend anyone get insurance from this company. I waited over 2 and a half months to get a card . These people are crooked as could be. I’m going to contact the district attorney of Washington and see what they have to say.

Innovative Partners LP did refund me…
Innovative Partners LP did refund me all of my money and admitted to error. The insurance broker should have never sold a policy because Innovative Partners LP is not licensed in the state of California. Thank Innovative Partners for doing the right thing and I am sorry about the insurance broker that sold me a policy that jeopardized your image.

They took over a $1,000 out of my…
They took over a $1,000 out of my account and have provided no services or coverage. They talk a good game when it’s to get to sign you up but are a scam. It’s sad when people take advantage of someone who is going blind in one eye and my mom is battling cancer all for a couple bucks. I just wanted to leave this review because these people are a fraud and don’t care.

I was sold a health care plan sponsored supposedly by Aetna
I was sold a health care plan sponsored by Innovative Partners / Marpai Health through an insurance broker called AP Insurance Health Enrollment Center. The broker stated that this plan was underwritten by Aetna, which proved to be false. The doctor I was seeing was listed as accepting this plan, so I bought the coverage. A dental plan was also purchased at the same time that was sponsored by Aetna with the actual Aetna logo embossed on the card.I was covered by this plan all of 2024. Throughout the year I saw my primary doctor a few times. I was referred to a Cardiologist, and a Neurologist. Both providers showed up to be in the Aetna provider network. I also saw my dentist twice for routine cleaning & check up.By October I had not seen any bills from providers, or EOB's from Innovative Partners / Marpai Health, so I started asking why not. My providers, and I were both given the explanation that claims had not been received. Claims were re-submitted more than once, and we were provided with the same answers, that claims had not been received.I cancelled this policy in early December due to poor customer service when requesting documentation about my coverage, combined with the fact that they were not paying my claims, or responding to my providers.I finally got my first & only correspondence from Marpai Health in late December in the form of an EOB stating that almost all my claims were out of network & being denied. They didn't even pay my dentist whom I know was in network. It turns out that Innovative Partners / Marpai Health has nothing to do with Aetna. The insurance broker AP Insurance Health Enrollment Center misrepresented what company was underwriting this policy.
