Why you need this class!
How do you put a value on getting all of your questions answered by professionals who have done hundreds of times exactly what you are trying to accomplish? This class was very helpful with showing me what I needed to do, how I needed to do it, who I needed to call in my local area to get permits, risk analysis for opening an STR in your target area, spreadsheets and resources for running financial calculations, and everything else I needed to get started in the short term rental industry and how to make sure it’s profitable. I've taken a few classes with Host Camp. I took a "Comp Camp" where we learned how to understand STR comps, and also "Land Camp" where we learned a lot about evaluating STR development projects. I have to say that both classes were really good classes. Not only were they incredibly informative but they were also reasonably priced. I had the pleasure of learning from Rob, Kai, and Cam and they are probably some of the best teachers I've had in the STR space. They speak from so much experience, have the ability to make complex things easier to understand, and are incredibly generous with their time. Changed the course of my life! Like many, I found Rob on his Youtube channel. I booked a 1 on 1 call that would end up setting the path for the next 5 years. I've been with Kai and his coaches for about a year and I can't tell you how much I've learned. The benefits of being in the program (both Land Hackers and now Host Camp) are extreme. The extensive training will take you from a novice to a well informed investor and understanding all the nuts and bolts from creative financing you real estate project to hosting in the top 10% of airbnb/vrbo hosts. All the coaches are extremely knowledgeable and people you'd like to become friends with and do business with. This results in them attracting similar types of people. There are thousands in the now combined program and we haven't met a single person who wasn't kind and giving. So much sharing of knowledge. We signed up as part of the PRO group which gave us one on one coaching with Kai and his coaches. While we haven't bought a property yet, we are ready and feel soooo confident that it will go well because we now know how to evaluate properties and have a team of experts to validate our analysis. And once we have our property, we'll have plenty of support finding competent contractors, making good budget decisions and using the discounts for designing and furnishing the property. I feel so happy I joined and confident in the future!
