Amazing Customer Service and Product!
My Hooga unit unfortunately did not work when it first arrived; however, without hesitation, Hooga immediately sent a replacement. That level of customer service is rare today and truly appreciated.We’ve now had the replacement for a week and absolutely love it. My daughter recently had surgery and has already noticed a difference after using it. We’re encouraged by the early results and look forward to continued improvement. I’ve also started using it for facial anti-aging and genuinely feel better after each session. It’s wonderful that it offers so many versatile benefits.I highly recommend Hooga — both for their exceptional customer service and for a product that truly delivers.

Good customer service
My first impression wasn't very good because I received the panel with a cable that was unusable (for the US, whereas I live in Switzerland). However, customer service was very responsive and handled the situation well.I was able to test the device and the experience was pleasant, although the effects need to be evaluated over the long term (I had a sprained ankle and, from a muscular point of view, it's difficult to say if there has been any improvement after one session).

Amazing customer service
I had a very minor issue with my panel - one of the screws on the kickstand kept popping out. I emailed the team and they took care of it right away. They sent me a new one and told me I could keep the old one!

I absolutely love my Hooga Pro 300 Panel.I've been using it for just 2 weeks and I am already experiencing great result on my puffy eyes bags and on my skin all over. The recommended directions that came with the product are very clear on how to use it on each area of your body which is so helpful and important. I would highly recommend this product. 👌 👍 😄

My wife was gifted the Red light Pod. After using for a few months the system quit. I was fairly sure the controller had died. Hooga customer service agreed with my assessment and shipped a new, updated controller. We got it up and running in about a week after contacting them. We are very impressed with their customer care team!

Very responsive customer service. I love my light therapy belt for the light but the battery & controller design is terrible, they are not made for moving while using the product or if you use it anywhere other than on your waist. I've put Velcro on the back of the controller and sewed an elastic to the battery pocket to keep it in place.

Remote broke, good customer service
My mask stopped working after about a month due to an issue with the remote/charger. It’s possible I accidentally used a fast charger, which may have caused the problem. Unfortunately, a standard charger isn’t included with the mask, and since most people primarily use fast chargers these days, that feels like an oversight. By the time customer service explained this and I found an appropriate charger, it was already too late for the original remote.That said, customer service was excellent—there was no hesitation in sending me a replacement mask. The mask itself does seem effective, particularly for improving skin texture. I plan to continue using it and am hopeful I’ll see continued results.

I have owned my hooga table top panel for about one year. I have been very happy with the product! Recently, the stand broke. I emailed the company about this and received a reply promptly, asking for a picture. I sent them evidence of the break and again was responded to almost immediately AND found out the replacement part was sent almost immediately as well!! These days with so much online shopping, I will always opt for someone with excellent customer service. Hoogahealth has shown me they are one of those companies!

I own multiple products and I love some of them
I own multiple products from Hooga and I would have loved to give them 5 stars, because some of my devices work perfectly and I love them. However, newer versions of their wraps have controllers that are super-glitchy. I will review each device separately, to be fair. I have an older version of the wrap and I love it and use it a lot every time I pull a muscle, to help recover after a workout, to relieve my shoulder stiffness and my husband uses it for skin irritation. It works brilliantly, is easy to use and can be brought on trips. I also have a cap, which I bought to help relax my head tension. It was a part of my effort to revert a frown wrinkle on my forehead, as if the muscles are always contracted, nothing else you do will ultimately work. It made a huge difference and it also does a very good job relieving my neck tension and stiffness, which was a nice, unexpected side effect. We also own newer wrap model and it has never worked. The buttons on the controller just won't press. They were nice to send us a replacement, but it isn't working any better, so I think it's a design flaw.

High quality products with some bugs. Fortunately their customer service is very responsive and resolves issues quickly. The Pod is a great tool for my chronic illness and I use it multiple times a week. Hooga’s red light products have the right amount of power behind their LEDs to be therapeutically effective, unlike many competing brands. I would buy from them again.

Poor Amazon Fulfillment + Dismissive and Gaslighting Customer Service
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was exhausting enough that I feel it’s important to document it clearly.I ordered a Hooga panel through Amazon. The first unit arrived with a rattling noise, so I contacted both Amazon and Hooga directly. Amazon responded quickly and sent a replacement, which I appreciated. Hooga also offered to send a replacement, but their response came after Amazon had already shipped one, so I let them know Amazon had handled it.Unfortunately, the replacement unit that arrived appeared used: • The packaging was not sealed • The charger was not wrapped in plastic (unlike the first unit) • There were visible scratches and dents • The panel behaved differently than the original, including noticeable light perception issues that were not present beforeWhen I followed up with Hooga, a representative named Tyler responded. While he acknowledged that Amazon sometimes mistakenly restocks returned items as “new,” his tone and approach afterward were extremely unprofessional.Despite saying “I believe you,” he repeatedly insisted that what I was experiencing was “not possible,” suggested it was an “optical illusion,” and implied that I was misunderstanding what I was seeing—even stating that “everyone always comes back and confirms it’s still red.” This felt dismissive and invalidating, especially after acknowledging fulfillment issues.After I sent photos (as requested), he dismissed the concerns again, suggested damage was likely just a protective film (there was none), and concluded that everything looked normal—without addressing the lack of sealed packaging or the broader fulfillment concerns he had already admitted existed.At that point, I chose to return the product through Amazon, which was handled smoothly. The contrast between Amazon’s straightforward process and Hooga’s defensive, condescending communication was stark.I want to be clear: this review isn’t about a defective product alone—issues happen. It’s about how a customer is treated when something goes wrong. Being told, repeatedly and indirectly, that your experience isn’t real or is “all in your head” is not acceptable customer service.I hope this feedback helps the company improve its support approach, because this interaction alone made me decide not to purchase directly from Hooga again.
