Absolutely horrible fake company
Absolutely horrible company. TOTAL SCAM. They quoted us at 8k, came in and ending up charging us almost 30k. We didn’t have a choice as we had to be out that day and already paid thousands in rental cars to move across country. They broke numerous of our electronics, were rude and lost two of our boxes that had valuable items in there and sentimental belongings. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AS THEY ARE NOT A REAL MOVING COMPANY. THEY ARE A BROKER WHO WILL CONTRACT YOU OUT TO PEOPLE WHO DO NOT HAVE YOUR BEST INTEREST AT HEART AND ARE LOOKING TO SCAM. Classic bait & switch. The “company” that showed up to move our belongings showed up in a UHAUL and took our stuff to a facility that loaded it up onto a bigger truck with other peoples things. When they arrived, they threatened to hold our belongings hostage and charge us if we did not pay cash upon arrival. They were also 2 weeks later than promised to deliver. These people forced us to give them it in cash so there is no paper trail. They know what they are doing, we had the police show up and everything and they could not help us. If anyone who used this company and ended up with 2 boxes that are not your own, please contact me as I would give anything to have those items back. Run don't walk away from Heritage..
We unfortunately got stuck with Heritage Movers after the broker Precise obtained our business and then contracted our move out to Heritage. The contact at Precise moving was friendly and made it seem like this was a simple process and he could send the quote right over. We went through each room and I let him know what we needed to have moved and I told him this was just a high overview and he said no worries we get a good estimate. He sent over a quote a few hours later and it was a pretty good price. I called around to about 5 other companies and they were the best quote by far so we decided to move forward. Upon moving day a third party mover, Heritage Moving, showed up to move us. They walked through and said the quote was wrong and that it would be $3K-$4K higher than what we were originally quote, plus all these other extra charges that we were originally told would be included. At this point we had no choice as we had to be out of our house in time for closing. The guy even had the nerve to ask for a tip after they had packed all our stuff onto the truck. They stored our items for 3 weeks while we waited to close on our new house. They were a day late from when they told us they could deliver our furniture and I've lost count of how many of our items were broken beyond repair. Not one apology or even acknowledgement as they walked by me unpacking broken items. They had boxes listed as fragile on the bottom layer of their truck, threw them around like they were pillows, and put 40% of our items in the garage instead of the room they were marked for. This was by far the worst experience I've had when moving. The owners of Precise need to better vet who they contract their jobs out to. Do not recommend.

Run from this moving company
Run from this moving company. Lost 25 of our moving boxes. Small move total of 60 boxes. Lost thousands of dollars of items. Refunded $100 because you only get .60 cents per pound. So not even worth the time for a claim. The worst thing is we received 2 boxes of another move, with the tag numbers. Asked 5 times for a shipping label to return their items. Never received. Just horrible.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had. They communicate with you until they get your money and then stop answering your calls. My "2 day window" turned out to be me waiting for the movers to call, which they finally did late afternoon to inform me they couldn't move me in that window. And lo and behold, Heritage doesn't answer the phone anymore! Please please please do not give these people your money.

Never use this company.
I don’t want to give any start. This is not company, they damaged my brand new house and now they are totally denied and I’m going to court. They don’t have service mind. I bought kitchen appliance from Canadian appliance source and these guys delivered those and damaged my house and products.

Do NOT use this company
Do NOT use this company! Check reviews and stories on mistreatment and unprofessionalism on Better Business Bureau website. There responses to the reviews will display the defensiveness. Accountability feels like an attack when you are not ready to acknowledge your behavior. Instead of owning any piece of a complaint they defend EVERY aspect which is telling because it shows they see themselves as flawless. You will also see many themes in each review which displays consistency. How can all these individuals which no relation to one another have the same experiences and be wrong? Do NOT use this company. This is not an LGBTQ friendly company.

Worse experience ever!
Worse experience ever!! Do not believe what they say. Lisa, Barbie and Megan were misleading and no help with getting my move completed timely and as promised. Stay away from these guys!

Warning! Do Not Use This Moving Company
Warning! This move was an absolute disaster. Let’s start with the reason we selected Heritage Moving and Storage. After getting estimates from 3 national moving companies we decided to look at some local movers because all of the national movers were giving us 7 - 14 day delivery windows. We were looking for the following services; A dedicated truck3 MoversA firm delivery windowA binding estimateHeritage assured us that they would provide all of these services. To ensure the accuracy of the binding estimate I sent Heritage 2 of the national company estimates and also did a virtual appointment with Lisa. So we were given a two day window for pickup, which was fine with us. The day before the first day we received a call telling us our pickup would be on the following day and we would get a call the next day with the pickup time. We received a call informing us that the pickup would be between 12pm and 3pm. We thought that was a bit strange, getting such a late pickup, especially since our move was a full pack and move. Well, moving day arrives and no call from the driver. So around 2pm we get a call letting us know they were running late and would not be there until between 3pm and 4pm. They finally arrived at 4:30pm with only two men! We were moving from a two bedroom apartment so it was a pretty small move. It took until 12:30am for the pack and loading. The first thing the driver did when arriving was to do an inventory of our items to make sure nothing had been added. Well, what do you know, their estimate did not include a second couch, two end tables and numerous other items which were all included in the estimates I provided as well as the virtual tour. I asked for a copy of the items missing from their estimate but was given excuses and never received an itemized list of the ‘added items’. So, of course our cost went up significantly! We had a hotel reservation for the first night about two hours away but since it was so late we stayed with friends and had to pay for the hotel since it was too late to cancel. So, the next day we are driving to our new home and we receive a call that our furniture would not be delivered the next day but the day after. I told the dispatcher we had a guaranteed delivery date and she rudely told me to read the contract, they had a 7 day delivery window. The moving van arrived two days later at 6:30pm. They unloaded what was clearly someone else's belongings and placed them behind the truck and proceeded to unload ours. So, clearly they had included at least one other load in our move. They did not finish unloading until 9:30pm.So, in summary. Nothing we were told as we planned this move and made the decision to use Heritage Moving and Storage was true. I would not only not recommend anyone from using Heritage I would strongly encourage them to look elsewhere.

This is a scam
This is a scam. No company. The location is fake. This group is master of deception, forgery and theft. Lost over a 100.000 $ properties because of their blackmail. The same story as all the previous reviews. They have pots here and on all website to wash out honest reviews. Disgrace and shame on the face of American Small business. Will not leave them to get away with that.

worst of the worst
This company has no integrity or communication. They underbid quotes..get their money and then c-ya. Called one evening and owners son( he bragged) was drunk and called my daughter sweetie about 10 times...we recoreded it. Movers they assigned even said Heritage is the worst. Do not use this horrendous company..they are as bad as it gets.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY
We scheduled a move with Heritage about a month ago. When we called to receive an estimate, we told Lisa that we had a three bedroom house and started listing “all of the things that couldn’t fit in a box” per her request. We told her about what furniture we had, about our home gym equipment, and anything else we could think of. Lisa then started listing common household items and we answered “yes” or “no.” Lisa also asked if we had any totes. I said yes, and she asked if we had more than 15, which I answered YES-we probably had 30 or so but she didn’t ask any further questions. We were quoted $5,177 for our move from Fort Benning, GA to Fort Carson, CO. We disclosed that we are a military family and that we would be reimbursed for the move. When the movers got there, they seemed shocked at the amount of stuff we had. They were told that there were only 30 ITEMS TOTAL to be moved, had no idea about the gym equipment, and seemed flustered. I’ve used movers before and answered similar questions to what Lisa asked me and had no issues, so I didn’t think anything of it. Heritage charges an extra however much per cubic foot over the estimate, so our move ended up being a whopping $11,000. I feel like this company saw an opportunity to make more money and didn’t feel bad about it since we were supposed to be reimbursed. However, the army only reimburses $1/lb, and since we only had 9,000 lbs to be moved, we were out $2,000 that we never planned on paying. Can you imagine if we were NOT being reimbursed? Quoted $5,000 and ended up paying $11,000! Wow. I called a few days after our stuff was delivered in CO and spoke with a manager named Henry (or so I was told later, someone I spoke with said Henry was the only male manager). Three pieces of furniture were broken and I had questions about filing a claim. I also brought up the fact that we felt cheated and that it was unacceptable that our move ended up being over double what was estimated. During this conversation, Henry kept interrupting me and insinuated that we didn’t tell the truth about how much stuff we had and blamed us for “messing up their schedule.” All we did was answer the questions Lisa asked during the estimate process, so I’m not sure how we would lie about it. I insisted that they were the professionals and I assumed they had the information they needed to complete the move. I also told them I would have understood if the estimate was off by a couple thousand—no problem. But DOUBLE? Henry said he would listen to the recorded estimate conversation between us and Lisa to determine next steps. He claimed he would call me back within a few days, but it’s been two weeks and I’ve heard nothing. I’ve called multiple times and left multiple messages with no response. I even called a few hours ago and was told “Henry just got here, I’ll let him know you called and he will be with you when he gets settled” and still haven’t heard back. This review is my attempt to get someone’s attention and to warn others. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR MOVE. Although, I would like to add that the gentlemen who picked up our stuff in GA were nothing but lovely and hard working. Best wishes to them.
Kylie
DON’T USE THIS COMPANY! IF NOT BE READY THE LAWYER
Horrible company! I have never seen like this company in our 6th times moving in military life. Bad customer service, unprofessional stuff, never pick up the phone when we call but if they need our money they keeps calling millions times. Late delivery, missing number of boxes. Using third party to third party transfer. They scheduled to delivery but never shows up and change the schedule by themselves and let you wait. If you use this company I highly recommend to get ready the lawyer!

Absolutely horrible company- lost all…
Absolutely horrible company- lost all my electronics and my couch which they eventually found but have no delivery date and I keep getting the run around. It has been almost a month and nothing. The worst company to hire, pay a bit more for QUALITY- it wi be worth it. And peace of mind that you won't be swindled out of your belonging. I will be taking them to court for reimbursement of all items and the move totaling over $6500. Don't use this company.

I recently relocated out of Town and…
I recently relocated out of Town and contacted Heritage Moving and Storage to arrange my things relocated. My initial interactions were with Sean, he followed up, was painted and followed through. He told me all the correct things to make me comfortable with my move. That they would need a two day window to pick everything up and then it would be sent to my destination, delivered when I requested it. I asked for two days and asked them to let me know which one worked for me because I was arranging my own travel plans to my new home. He said that would not be a problem. I committed, signed the contract and paid a deposit. I waited/waited and no call to let me know when I could expect the movers. After awhile I started to call and text Sean, asking for help. He first said he checked and they would call. He then give me their phone number and told me to call them. After numerous calls that no one answered I was finally able to get someone. She told me the schedule was not made yet and she would get back to me......she did not....I reached out again and she assured me she would get back to me by 11 am that day....she did not. I finally received a call, she set up the pickup day after I explained I was getting very nervous and asked her if I needed to be worried? I explained I would be out of town n business for the pickup day but would have my daughter and husband there. They never showed up...texting late that afternoon to say they were not coming till the next day. I had to delay leaving to start my trip to the new house. The next day three guys showed up with a U-Haul claiming the transmission went on the truck. He looked at my things and told me that the SALES FORCE did not know what was what and it was going to cost me over 2k more than I was quoted. At this point I had to get moved and was at a loss. They increased the price and I paid the second half of the money they required. Starting over would delay the move, and my starting work. They loaded the U-Haul and after it was loaded asked me when I wanted it delivered. I gave them a date 3 days later. That's when I was told that it could take 7 to 10 days. But most of the time it is delivered in 7. I asked work for a few more days and started my trip, I got there and 7 days passed, 9 days passed...when I reached out to customer service explaining I could not start work or anything because I needed my things she told me she would check and get back to me...never did. I reached out again the next day...she was extremely short with me saying this is how the industry is like all industries and the driver will call me when he has a delivery time. The driver calls to tell me when he will be there and 3 times questions me to make sure I have his money ready...pushing for cash. Last time driver reached out he said he was 5 hours away and questioned if I had payment ready, money cash/certified money order or Zelle. No other forms of payment. 6.5 hours later, late afternoon now he shows telling me he was hungry and had to stop for Mexican food before he came. It was the driver and one other person in an 18 wheeler. He came in my home and informed me he would not start to unload my things until he was paid. I paid my last inflated installment and walked out to the truck with them. There was no ramp to put down and when he opened the back everything was dumped over, lids off bins, things broken and tipped over. He handed me paperwork and told me to click off the numbers while he unloaded. My poor daughter was unloading and sorting to try to get it done. They were sliding tv's out of the back of the truck, and any large things. Stacking bins so hi numerous times getting them into the house they dumped them. Busted up bookshelves and desks. Literally broke off the shelve to hold the monitors. Wheels and legs bent. Numbers missing off of bins so no way to verify if we got everything. Then he started to hand me other peoples things. Said oh...I bet this belonged to the last drop. We were still unloading at 10:30 at night and I could not see to check off numbers, which he was not calling out half the time anyway. I tried to do the right thing and use a family business and this move has been a nightmare. I am a person who takes the time to give out good reviews because I believe not enough people do and rarely have a negative thing to say but this experience has been beyond frustrating and no one should have to spend (alot) of good money and go through it.

Worst move EVER
The estimate came in way lower than the price we ended up having to pay (we were charged an additional $2500) even though all the information and size of the move was included in the estimate. It took us over 7 days to receive our first load of furniture and we still do not have all of our stuff. They never communicated when they would be there to pick up the furniture. After numerous calls on our end, they contacted me after 9:00 pm the night before the scheduled move to tell me that they would be by the next evening (Sunday) to begin packing up the pictures and TV, etc. After 6:00 pm and no word, I called again and was told that they didn't have time, but would be there between 10 and 12 the next day (Monday). 12:00 and still no word. I call again, the driver is on his way. 1:00, still no driver and no call. I call again, and was told that the driver would call me. 1:45, the driver calls and says he is on his way, he overslept. They finally arrived at 2:30 pm. After loading the furniture, they demanded more than the percentage identified in the contract and told me that the furniture would be delivered possibly on Thursday, but most likely Friday of that week. We had been told that it would be delivered the next day. Thursday comes and goes and no word from the company. I called and texted repeatedly until they tell me that they will be there Friday. Friday night around 6:00 pm and no word and no drivers. After repeated calls to both the scheduler and customer service, I am told it is too late, the drivers will stay in a hotel and delivere Saturday morning. Saturday morning and no call, after repeated calls to the scheduler and customer service, we are told one of the workers is sick and they will be sending the worker to a local doctor. They will be in touch to let us know if the worker tests positive for COVID or can continue with the delivery. Saturday night, no word on the delivery. After repeated calls to the scheduler and customer service we are assured that our furniture will be delivered on Sunday between 11 and 1. 1:00 pm passes and no calls from anyone at the company. After repeated calls to the scheduler and customer service, we are told that they drove back to Atlanta and are just now loading the truck to drive back to Florida and the furniture will be delivered that night no excuses. They will text us as soon as the truck leaves Atlanta. Crickets....Monday morning and no word from the scheduler or customer service, after repeated calls, we are told that the truck has NOT left Atlanta but will be leaving that day. The drivers finally arrive Monday night after 9:00 pm. They are directed to stay at a hotel and deliver the furniture the next morning. Tuesday morning at 10:30 they arrive, but refuse to unload the truck until I Venmo the balance. In the initial unload, we realise we are missing several pictures, a bed rail and a king sized box spring. I contact the company immediately and tell them that we will be filing a claim. They promise to get back with me immediately regarding the missing items, they remember seeing them in the warehouse. I speak with the scheduler on Tuesday and he assures me that they will have the missing items to us by Sunday...Sunday comes and goes with no communication from the company. After repeated calls and texts to the scheduler and customer service, I am told that they will have a truck bring the missing items on Tuesday... I ask that they please be more consistent in their communication and updates. Tuesday comes and goes and after repeated texts, I am told that they cancelled the truck and that the items will be delivered this coming weekend. I have no hope that these items will be returned. This has been the worst moving experience we have ever had. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone looking for anything longer than a straight move.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They lied and told me they would get my belonging to me on a certain day and arrive 10 days later. I had to cancel my flight because of there incompetence. The customer service representative Courtney is rude and told me that them putting my stuff and storage was none of my business. Very poor service will NEVER use again, and I suggest you don’t.

Bait and switch
Bait and switch. Quoted one price, then movers showed up and parked far enough away to charge xtra long carry fee. Once loaded, informed us that the same stuff we moved to FL with 8 mos earlier in an 800 cu ft truck is now somehow ballooned to 1200, increasing our bill 60%! Once delivered they piled our belongings into our empty garage like a giant Jenga game. Broken furniture and bins, heavy boxes on top of ‘fragile glass’ marked boxes. A mini fridge stacked on top of boxes. Missing items. Overall bad experience..overpriced w damages and missing things. Insult to injury, their truck battery died and I had to locate jumper cables I had packed in the Jenga pile and jump start he moving truck with my car so they could leave. Bad business.

Literally the worst customer service I…
Literally the worst customer service I have ever experienced. When I told them I planned on leaving a 1 star review they said they would post the audio from the recorded call. I hope they do so people can hear how they treat people after making them wait 6+ hours outside of a pick up window they gave. They are completely unprepared to do the job, but completely prepared to nickle and dime you at every turn. My move was $900 more than originally quoted. 25% more than what I was told. Thats after I elected to sell a bedroom set. While loading the stuff one of the guys kept swearing and dropping f bombs the enitire time. I could not in good conscience ever recommend this company ever.

Please do not use them
Please do not use them! Save yourself the tears and headache. My items came back half broken and all my jewelry was stolen. $20,000 worth of Tiffany's jewelry gone. My jewelry box was tampered with and they got away with it stating it was not their fault.I do not even know where to start. I got a quote of $1,800 to move from FL to CT. They said October is their slow season. I listed everything they had on their sheet. When the movers got here (late of course) they hit me with a $4,200 bill because I had an additional 15 boxes. How did my bill go from $1,800 to $4,200 because of 15 boxes? That is more than half. I am sorry your Sales person who is suppose to know unit sizes failed to quote me the correct unit size. He quoted me 350 cube units and my movers quoted me 800 cubs because for the 15 additional boxes. WOW. I paid them because it was midnight and I wanted them out of my house. Not only did I pay them but they kept on insisting on a tip. I felt obligated to tip the guys that stole my jewelry.I signed a contract with Heritage and when my items came for delivery (late again. Quoted me a 2-5pm time and they arrives at 7:30pm) it was a total different company. A company that was rude, I never heard of and wanted me to pay them on the spot. They didn't even finish my move and left some of my furniture outside. If a company doesn't finish a serves then I would expect money back. But no, of course it wasn't their fault even though I have proof and evidence and photos of all this. This second unknown company was Van Line services LLC. Terrible service from both companies. Lies and theft. Do not USE THEM for anything. This family owned business is a lie and will not help you when your items are broken and stolen.I am in disbelief my family jewelry and designer purses are all gone. I hope nothing but bad karma on the people who took my items and I know exactly who they are. The company wont even tell me where they stored the truck or the names of the other movers who took my items. I cannot even get a hold of the other company and they will not give me any information. LIES. I wish I can give them zero stars.Oh and their customer service Connie needs some training and maybe not work in customer service as she was the rudest person I have ever dealt with.So many more problems with them and I can keep going but please do not use them. If anyone has had any insight on how to deal or handle this please let me know I am sadden about my jewelry and something needs to be done. I just need pointers as this company is not a helping me at all nor are they offering any discount on my move.
