Hartley Pensions - bankrupt since 2022, uncaring and unscrupulous liquidators UHY are seizing SSAS and SIPP pension fund assets to pay their own fees.
1* is way too generous, -1 million -*,***,*** is more accurate. Refer to the liquidators' UHY reports about Hartley for detail, including warnings about scams making a terrible situation worse. The FCA who triggered the bankruptcy have done nothing to help.

This has to be a joke.
Just had an email from Hartley pensions saying I owe them money for an account that to my knowledge was closed in 2019 only to see there had still been funds still in the account and that they have been taking £480 a year in fees unknowing to me know the account is empty they are demanding fees for the account that I didn't know about I have lost thousands to these scammers

Hard earned money is safer under the mattress
Transferred 10k from work pension to Hartley SAS in 2021. Went to get it out & they insisted no funds in SIPP!!Now have £500k in solicitors account relating to property sale…UHY administrators just as unscrupulous as Hartley, only interested in their own admin fees & will not allow the release of build expenses or for us to transfer SIPP. They promised release of funds if our solicitor agreed to take liability if fines imposed… they agreed …uhy refused release. They asked us to sign to say we would be liable for any fines… we agreed, UHY still did not release funds. We are the wronged party & all they wish now is for us to agree to transfer our hard earned £££ to Hartley account!!!!Would like to get together with other Hartley victims so our voice is heard.FCA useless!!! Unsupportive

This company is a total farce…
This company is a total farce or worse still a scam in my view - fortunately I managed to transfer my SIPP to another provider, but I see the FCA are all over these guys now. My experience was truly shocking and I took it up with the CEO and made a formal complaint. I did get some fees refunded, but to say these guys are truly awful is an understatement.

Only to be expected........
I've just found out today that Hartley are now looking for a buyer for their SIPP accounts due to the FCA imposing further restrictions. So that means everyone who had a SIPP taken over by them will be shunted off to another load of robbers and conmen. Not really surprised, is there anyone left in pensions these days who is honest?

Avoid at all costs
Absolutely dire company to deal with, despite numerous attempts to contact after receiving their annual £600 bill haven’t been able to reach anybody and the refuse to answer emails, currently in the process of reporting to FSCS for poor practice, avails this company like the plague there are far more reputable and helpful companies out there , absolutely shocking service

Hartley Pensions Scam
On their loading page it says, "Pension Scams – remove the sting!"Hartley Pensions charging those who have lost their pensions to administer the remaining worthless funds is itself a scam! They should discontinue these unjustified charges and return whatever little remains in the SIPP bank accounts. Then they could help remove a little of the sting!

WOW... actually past unbelievable!!
These scum took over my pension after my provider went into administration. They made NO CONTACT yet tried to withdraw over £1800 from my pension a few months ago for no reason.I contacted them, removing all my authority for them to deal with my pension, and added a GDPR request so they could NEVER contact me again. They have successfully just taken £600 in 'management fees' from the pension, claiming they still have authority. They are just thieves, avoid like the plague, FCA should shut them down!If you have a pension with them, say goodbye to your money"!
