Unfair billing practices, no cancellation button, and repeated threats

update reply on sep.11.2025I attempted to contact the email address you provided (novo.adler@ eva.guru), but the message bounced back as undeliverable. Please provide a valid contact or resolve this matter directly here.Thank you.===================================I subscribed to Eva Commerce starting at $29/month, but the price was increased to $39 and then $49 without any added value. When I tried to cancel, I was surprised to find that there is no cancellation button in the dashboard. Cancellation must be processed manually by their staff, which is very unusual compared to other SaaS tools like Helium10 or Sellerboard.Another big issue is payment methods. Unlike other platforms where you can view or remove your cards at any time, Eva stores all cards you’ve ever used and you cannot manage them yourself. In my case, they attempted to charge multiple cards I had used previously without my authorization.Even after confirming my cancellation, they invoiced me for a 30-day “exit period” that I did not use. When I refused to pay for unused service, they escalated the matter with repeated emails, so-called “legal notices,” and collection threats — all over $102.22.Other tools let you cancel anytime, manage your own billing, and don’t lock you into forced exit periods. Eva’s policies are restrictive, their billing lacks transparency, and the cancellation process is not fair to customers.I strongly advise other Amazon sellers to carefully review their policies before subscribing.

Company Lies About Reimbursements

This company lies and deceives. I had been with them for over 3 years. Initially I spoke with their team about getting a reduced reimbursement rate of 14%. They agreed and I have emails to prove this. I assumed they would stand by their word but this was not the case. After 2 years I decided to check and see what percentage I was being charged and turns out it was 16%. I then went back 2 years and checked all of my invoices from them and surprise they were all at 16% not 14% like agreed upon. After raising my concern to their team, I get the run around until I speak with Matthew Hall their director of Amazon. Who tries to placate me into accepting 10% reimbursements going forward. I tell him directly this is a laughable solution to them essentially stealing from me for years. They did not offer and form of reimbursement for the years of theft from me. All they tried to do was keep me as a customer by offering me 10% because they knew I was cancelling and switching to a service that only charges 10%. Stay far away from this company. They dont stand by their word and when caught in the act, try to save face by giving the smallest pittance of amends.

READ EVERY DETAIL OF AGREEMENT BEFORE SIGNING

I rarely write reviews, but my experience with Eva.guru has been so disappointing that I feel compelled to warn others considering their services.Billing IssuesFrom the beginning, billing with Eva.guru was messed up! My first month was in December 2024 and I was too busy to catch the over billing at first. They invoiced for campaigns that my in-house team was managing. After several back and forth emails they finally issued a credit. Read the fine print they do not want anyone else doing PPC so they will invoice based on all ad spend whether it was their campaign or not!Agreement ProblemsAgainst my better judgment I signed the agreement. Any company that requires two full months to exit certainly raised red flags, but I was willing to take my chance. Should always trust my gut! When I told them they were in breach of agreement by overbilling and I was cancelling the service they threaten collections and hefty fees, making the whole process feel predatory rather than customer-focused.I finally agreed on the cancellation date and limited scope of service so what I received from that point was mediocre service at best. I was even promised their top advertising guy for the remaining time of the agreement by the owner to try to get me to stay on. I held firm on my cancellation date and told them we would extend if satisfied. Needless to say I never dealt with the person he referenced. I ended up shutting it off early the third month since it was costing me more in ad spend than sales. There were other issues with the agreement like a link to a terms and conditions page. They can change that anytime and it conflicted with several items in the actual signed agreement. Service QualityI can't really speak about the level of service it seemed ok at first with weekly meetings but several things they were going to do never happened. Mostly outsourced like most agencies. I outsource myself so nothing wrong with that! Bottom LineOnce I had my initial discovery and determined they were more concerned with billing and collecting than anything else I was only interested in exiting so I did not really push them for service. The bottom line is they were not for me and every communication referenced their agreement whether it was when I requested cancellation or they wanted payment. If you decide to move forward edit your agreement on the front end. Once you sign they will be referring to it in every communication with you!

Very bad decision for me as a serious businessman with a working busy business on Amazon bunch of kids from all over the world that are playing games based on personal or racial backgrounds, which is racist and not showing up to meetings and keep charging enough to cancel the account and just playing games scrambling your emails in the chain emails and not answering what you’re asking all along. You’re in the dark and they’re not showing up to meetings and you don’t know what’s going on with your account. Do not do not make this mistake and work with them
