I ordered a butchers block in 3rd August 2025. I am still waiting. My credit card company are now involved as my emails, messages and telephone calls go unanswered. I did have one message from “ Lisa” as a previous review says, with an “ I’ve been in hospital claim” I have lost my money and have no butchers block. This woman needs to be stopped
We ordered a Windsor larder unit from these guys, and couldn't be happier. Yes, it takes a few weeks, but it is what it is, we were aware of the lead time and it was well worth the wait. Lisa was friendly, professional and quick to respond.If I had to make any suggestion, it would be to say that an email update halfway during the process would be much appreciated, even if it was just to say 'Hey, we're up to our necks in sawdust, but we're on it!' :)Excellent quality, nice people, order with confidence.
Great company. Excellent customer service, helped me to design my butchers block island. Delivered in a round a month. I absolutely love it! Extremely well made and solid. Exactly the right colour and size and looks beautiful in my kitchen. Highly recommend!
Ordered a butchers block 5 weeks ago came today! Looks amazing I asked if I could have before next weekend as we were having guests. Lisa pulled out all the stops and it’s arrived. I had a couple of hours off work as it says on site it’s a one man drop and the guy might need a hand. He was very helpful and planned his route before we took it in. The colour was perfect and would recommend them to anyone. We will be placing an order soon for a larder after seeing the quality of this item. So something to look forward to next year. Thanks again to the team for getting it done early and to a high spec

Ordered a butchers block island and a larder from Country Interiors. I would give them 10 stars if I could.The craftsmanship is superior and extremely well made. I was apprehensive about spending a good amount of money online when you only have pictures to go by. Some may say it’s a leap of faith.I couldn’t be anymore amazed with the quality. Even better than the pictures shown on the website.The whole process from beginning to end was stress free and seamless.Lisa was absolutely amazing and extremely helpful through the whole order process, and went above and beyond to make the process as easy as possible.Everything was pre organised for me including the delivery. I didn’t have to worry about anything. I would absolutely use Country Interiors again and I can thoroughly recommend them to anyone wanting to order a beautiful piece of furniture.Thank you again Country Interiors for everything.
Received our long awaited kitchen island with butchers block in bespoke F&B colourway where we provided our own handles (no refund was given for having to pay for their handles). The delivery driver arrived 30 minutes early; which was fine and probably a first to be honest. This is where the positive stopped. He then asked for me to help him with the island. My husband had left for work, good job as he’d have been furious. The teenager was seconded to the job - in pj’s and crocs. Not ideal for carrying large lumps of furniture down steps! We didn’t need to carry it down 5 large stone steps but the driver insisted this was the best access. Interestingly when we had a 300kg range cooker delivered this came through half a step at the front gate. Every item we’ve ever had delivered has also come this route. I did question this but was informed taking an island and scraping its base down some stone steps was the better option. He also wanted to wheel it; on the wet dirty pavement. No thanks. I don’t want dirty white gritty casters across my kitchen floor. I did get quite annoyed as he ploughed on down the steps expecting us to lean forward whilst carrying the island. He didn’t do any count for manual handling eg ‘ready brace lift’, so no consideration for anyone’s back let alone his own. So when he’s signed off sick with his GP for a disc prolapse you’ll know why. After the driver had left we wheeled the island into position and immediately noticed the front leg had a large chunk missing!!!!! This was done prior to painting. The leg is uneven and looks like an electric planer has taken a chunk out, they’ve then sanded it as smooth as they could and then spray painted it to hide the damage. It’s not hidden; it’s the first thing you notice when you walk into the kitchen. Considering we paid £900 for an island - I am frankly appalled. The sad bit is, I think they thought they’d get away with it as Id been friendly and nice in correspondence over the colour and handles etc.. no one in that workshop should have personal standards that permit finishing a unit knowingly with damage. They knew exactly what they were doing when they sanded and painted it. The unit is otherwise very nice. I wouldn’t recommend them not will I ever buy from them again. The fact they finish and send out damaged pieces means you don’t know what standard of workmanship you’ll receive. It might be perfect it probably won’t be and you’ll certainly be expected to manual handle something weighing the weight of a washing machine into your house. I did email twice and provide photos but they’ve not bothered to reply. Update: since my post Lisa who says she is the company owner telephoned me to say she had been in hospital whilst crocodile tears - the whole story sounded false given by the inconsistencies in her story. She told me that (through her sobs) the reason why the unit was sent out damaged was because she’d not checked it. Well she had already emailed to say she’d been into the workshop to inspect it and it was almost ready. I already have explained the unit was damaged before they’d even sanded. So this is garbage. Other inconsistencies crept in about the delivery. The story changed. It was all to make me feel sorry for her. I frankly don’t care. It’s not an excuse; what that tells me if she was genuinely unwell is that this is the standard the company as a whole deem acceptable. She wailed on for half an hour, even my children were eye rolling in the background and whispering ‘she’s lying’. I’m done with Country Interiors. I’ve no interest in them putting this right because I don’t trust them to.
Amazing quality - perfect colour - it’s not often that you buy something online and it is exactly as described and delivered in the designated timeframe. I love it and it’s really finished off our new kitchen. Thank you Lisa and everyone at country interiors - can’t recommend them enough
Ordered a butcher’s block and was quoted a 6-8 week delivery time.The communications throughout were excellent, Lisa was particularly helpful, and we received our item on time and with a bespoke delivery service.The butcher’s block itself is a beautiful piece of kitchen furniture and already we don’t know how we managed without it. As an additional workspace and storage area it gives us a lot more flexibility in our kitchen.The end beech block top is so stunning I can’t bring myself to cut directly on it and still use a chopping board to protect it!

Wonderful craftmanship, we are delighted with our Kitchen. Great advice during design stage. The fitting team did a wonderful job and the paint was beautiful.
We completed a full refurb of our kitchen and wanted to introduce a butchers block into the large central area created by the new kitchen design. We also wanted something we could move around based on our needs. We discovered Country Interiors when researching butchers blocks and liked the look of their products and we would tell they were quality. We ordered our furniture at the end of March and wanted to make a couple of edits as our new kitchen unfolded. We were able to add the towel rail that we originally excluded and also we were able to amend the height to suit our kitchen. Lisa was very easy to deal with and very responsive. We LOVE the butchers block which is of very high quality and has become of the centre piece of our kitchen. Highly recommend.
Had our new Butchers Block delivered yesterday ( 3 weeks early). The quality of work is exceptional, our faces beam everytime we walk into the room.Country Interiors are so easy to deal with too, Lisa our contact took any stress away and her communications at every step was first class.Top, top company.
Amazing personal service, I had my butchers block made to the exact dimensions and colour I needed. I was delighted with the end result, beautiful craftsmanship and exceptional quality, worth every penny. Excellent communication all the way through to delivery. I contacted Country Interiors having carried out research on the internet.We were in the process of moving home and I needed a "home office" and was attracted by their Burford Home office range.I had limited space so needed specific measurements.I spoke at length with Lisa who has been amazing and so helpful - nothing was too much.Despite a few problems I now have the "office" which is just right for what I needed.Lisa and her team have gone above and beyond and have dealt with any issues promptly and without blame.Thank you.
We bought a bespoke vented Burghley larder cupboard - double cupboards with spice racks above and double cupboards with two sets of 3 pull-out shelves below - in Card Room Green. Absolutely delighted with it. Stunning large piece of furniture which has swallowed everything with ease and looks lovely in our kitchen.
Our experience with Country Interiors has been excellent throughout, They offered such a variety of options and flexibility at a fair price. The communication was timely and effective, making sure all the details of our custom build were spot on, checking with us about potential changes rather than making assumptions...really professional and customer orientated. Most importantly, we love the end product, it looks like it should always have been in our kitchen and it has swallowed all our provisions with ease...and room to spare.
Disappointed that the sizes quoted for round tray vary by 6cm! So unable to use for its intended purpose
