Technician did routine maintenance as scheduled but also diagnosed and resolved a small oil leak. Very thorough. Answered my questions and also checked generator output to breaker box.

Great experience
The crew that installed the wiring were terrific. They worked in 90 degree heat all day both days they were here. They explained what they were doing and why it needed to be done. The workmanship was great.

Second Generator
This was the second full house generator I purchased from CDS. My first generator lasted 13 years and was starting to fail. I chose CDS for the second one as I had great experiences with the first. All personnel were very professional and courteous. I highly recommend CDS to anyone considering purchasing a generator.

The service was good, but the charges were ridiculous.
The service man showed up as scheduled. It was quite apparent that he knew the problem before he got there, and all he had to do was touch a test meter to the control panel. From there he went to the truck and got a new control panel, which he installed in just a few short minutes. My problem is that I was charged $900 for a control panel that can be bought all day long for UNDER $600. I understand a minimum labor charge, and minor trip fee, but in my opinion the excessive charge for the part makes me rethink who I will call next time!
