Been in the program for about a year and a half now and has been a complete game changer. Went from 0 internships to 4 with 2 in IB and 2 on buy side. Would highly recommend if you’re serious about finance.
Joined the program not knowing anything and was given good resources and mentors to help recruit for my desired field (consulting). They will not follow up with you so its on you to utilize this resource. Can be a little pricey and may not be worth it if you attend a t20 school.
If your child is smart and motivated but directionless, this program can make a meaningful difference.I ended up enrolling both of my kids into CareerXL after meeting Nick. To be candid, neither of them had a clear sense of direction at the time. They were extremely capable students, but at the same time unsure of their career paths or honestly didn't think about a future after college. As a parent, it was stressful watching them drifting around without a plan.What stood out about CareerXL was that it wasn’t motivational coaching or vague advice, my kids are fine without that. Instead each of of my children were given a clear roadmap, concrete expectations, and consistent guidance. Each mentor was professional, direct, and didn’t sugarcoat feedback. It felt like a lot at first but over time, we saw a real shift in confidence, discipline, and a sense of ownership over their future. I'm so happy that both of them ended up securing jobs in New York in both consulting and finance. Better yet, they both make over 100K each and are now financially independent. They are complete off our expense which was something that honestly felt uncertain before this program.CareerXL is not inexpensive but in hindsight, it has probably been the best investment we’ve made for our kids since opening their first investment accounts.
Experience was more than I expected! I’ve used WallStreetMastermind before but came out of my recruitment cycle unsuccessful. CareerXL helped me secure an internship at the end of the day with incredibly tailored support.The community of students in this program is tight knit, and I’ve met countless people through the program that I am sure that I will keep in touch with throughout my career,Even as I prepare to graduate, they are still helping me look for more opportunities and encouraging me to reach my full potential. Could not have found a better use of my time and money.
Really great - got a lot of hands on coaching and questions answered whenever I needed it. Really helped with recruiting + managing stress since I was also able to ask any qs to other students who were also recruiting
