Warning on paying your Deposit, they may not give it back

I complained about a £1k refundable deposit taken that was not returned and after chasing insisted its my bank blocking the transaction. Only after the threat of complaint to FCA on client money that it then magically got deposited to my account. Having worked in financial services myself, I raised a complaint via their generic complaints email with no response. Another follow-up and still nothing. I then searched the FCA register and saw the names of Katie Jones (Compliance Manager) and Mark Lavery (CEO) who I then emailed. Katie responded "Oh i thought it was dealt with". I emailed again asking for investigation and redress with no response. Shocking how a regulated company and regulated person can just ignore concerns from customers.Avoid this company.

Avoid this company

Avoid this company, their customer service is non existent, you get the absolute minimum support possible to basically just get rid of you. There is no testing or quality assurances.If you complain it’s met with contempt. It is almost unbelievable how a company so poor can operate. All your motorpark outlets are part of Cambria, do your research folks and use a reputable firm.

Non-existent aftercare

Bought a car which has done 14,000 more miles than they originally advertised. Waited 9 weeks for a copy of the MOT certificate and when it arrived the mileage was inflated by more than 20,000 so the DVLA are going to think I’m on the fiddle.Chased for weeks to get copies of my warranty paperwork, and the service plan I paid £399 for still isn’t active as nobody has arranged to set up my monthly direct debit. Numerous emails to the Sales Manager at Bolton Motorpark have gone unanswered or I’ve been fobbed off with the copy & paste response of “sorry that we have fallen short of your expectations” with no attempt to actually remedy the issues. Avoid Bolton Motorpark like the plague! Once they have your money they really couldn’t give a toss.

Doves Horsham never respond

Tried to book service online. Never responded so had to call. Emailed a couple of months ago asking when MOT due. Never responded. Then found MOT was overdue and requested a MOT - that was a couple of weeks ago - again no reply - so I’ve gone elsewhere. Wrote to them when they emailed a reminder saying I’d use them if they actually responded but predictably no response!Consequently have missed MOT and car’s been off the road for two weeks now.
