FedEx failed to deliver my wine for…

FedEx failed to deliver my wine for over a week. After many calls to them with no positive results, I contacted your organization and your representatives were quickly responsive to the situation, and helped resolve my problem. Thank you for the extra service provided. The wine is good also.

CAVEAT EMPTOR...

CAVEAT EMPTOR...I feel misled in that I ordered 10 bottles of wine and received 10 half bottles- one was damaged with the cork popping through the top. I requested compensation and was told for a fee of $79 I could return the bottles. That is absurd. I never thought to examine the ml amount of the bottle as based on the photo on their website, the bottle looked like a standard sized bottle- and importantly was priced accordingly. This is a true case of CAVEAT EMPTOR. I reached out to customer service, and they offered to credit me for the damaged bottle; however, no extra offerings to offset the lack of satisfaction as a customer. I would have at least offered a coupon for a future order or even sent a complimentary bottle of wine. I will NOT order from this company again. And I advise anyone considering ordering from this company to think twice. It is preferable to support local businesses. You will not save money by ordering through this company.

Great place to do business with.

Always a pleasant experience as I am always treated as a special customer and receive great customer service. They have a wonderful selection at great prices and offer incentives for different wines at different times of the year. Very happy especially now that my new box of wine arrived today.

Paid $241, Never Received Order, No Refund

I paid $241.01, including $71.85 for overnight shipping. The product was never delivered.BuyWineOnline changed my delivery address without authorization to a Walgreens pickup location. Walgreens confirmed they never received the package, yet BuyWineOnline continued sending pickup emails and refused to issue a refund.Instead, I was told I would still owe $143.70 in shipping/return fees for a product I never received.It has now been nearly a month, multiple refund requests, and no resolution. Their issue is clearly with FedEx — yet they are holding my money.Unacceptable customer service. Buy at your own risk.

I bought wine around the world 20…

I bought wine around the world 20 bottles - had it going to NY When you make payment thru Apple pay their software cancels out the Shipping location and defaults to the Billing adress which is Wrong. Their software flaw which is fault of vendor, not client. They are aware of issue but would not resend out the order to person who should have received the order, instead wanted to charge me twice for picking up and shipping the order correctly They are aware of the issue and did not want to stand behind their error. I canceled the order and will be disputing the charge now after saying that then they can now have Fed x Pick it up- horrible customer service, will Never Use or Recommend them again.

Bad customer service

I ordered 3 wines to be shipped out of state for the holidays. It was shipped to my home address (my credit card address) instead of the intended recipient. I never got the confirmation by email and was sent one after I called to complain. It did not show the date they claimed I received it, nor was it in my spam folder. When I called BWO.com customer service, the woman insisted that I made the mistake, not her company. She also told me there would be a reshipping fee and delay in delivery to my friend. I don't recommend this company- find somewhere else to purchase your wine!PS.I sent the wine on my own at half the price they quoted for shipping. They make money on freight charges as well. Note the tone of their response!

Amazing customer service

Amazing customer service. Have had nothing but good things to say about the customer service representative. Anyone they complains seems to have mental deficiencies like the last complainer.

I feel duped…

I specifically googled where I could buy a specific vintage of wine. The results pointed me to BuyWinesOnline.com. So when I went online at their site and found the vintage, I ordered what I could across two orders within two weeks of each other. It was a 2021 Cabernet. It was supposedly all that they had in stock. The order was in April 2025 and fast forward to December 2025 when we finally opened the cases sent to us. Well, they were Vintage 2019. We opened a bottle and it is not anywhere as good as the 2021. When I raised it with customer service they tried to convince me it is what I ordered. When they sent me the snap shot of what I ordered, it showed a 2021. But then they said their system overlaid the current 2021 inventory onto my previous order. I don’t buy that in the least because I know what I was trying to get. I told Anthony, customer service rep- I assume, this boils down to a trust issue. I know what I ordered online and what I received is not it. Shame on me for waiting 8 months to open the cases. I appreciate your comments but i am not changing my view nor comments. I know what I ordered and what was presented to me in your website. I was seeking a 2021 and did not order it anywhere else online. However, I did buy out the supply of a local liquor store. Agree to disagree. And the links, as I mentioned to Anthony are simply the delivery documents and not what was ordered. When he supplied the order page it did show the 2021. But Anthony says your system overwrites old order info with new inventory. It isn’t something I accept. But be that as it may, it is my fault for not looking inside the cases until now. And as mentioned to Anthony, I am not seeking anything other than assurance that what I order is what will be delivered. And so someone should check to see if your system did pull in 2021 because allegedly you only had 12 bottles. But when I went back in a week or so later there was another 12 bottles. I like your site and delivery. I am simply very disappointed to find this out now…again, that is on me.

First time buyer here

First time buyer here. I was excited to see they had some of my favorite sparkling wines I haven’t had in years. They were out of stock of one of my items and Lupe emailed me promptly to explain. She gave me options and was extremely responsive when I was asking about ship time and when my items would arrive. Everything arrived quickly and in great condition. I would 100% order from this company again. Wonderful experience.

Slow shipping out. Does not ship on weekends. Also indicated was going to ship FEDEX, but shipped UPS, which is an inferior shipper. Will never use this website again

Outstanding Customer Service

I ordered wine as a Christmas present on December 3rd and I put the incorrect address on the order. I emailed them the very next morning and Lupe addressed it correctly and sent me an email noting that it was corrected. I then realized that I did not send a gift note. I immediately emailed Lupe again and he got back to me so quickly again to fix my issue. I was so relieved that he was right on top of it and promptly fixed my problem. I appreciate you Lupe. Outstanding customer service and I’m so happy to have chosen buywinesonline.com. Excellent prices when comparing to other online distributors.
