Not durable
I bought this bag in its Kickstarter days. Lots to like -- handle, wheels, collapsability.Unfortunately the bag is not durable. I used my first bag on a trip overseas, always put it in the overhead compartment, handled it as one would a carry-on. By the time I returned home the fabric at the lower part of the zipper was frayed to the point of splitting from the fabric. Assuming the damage was a fluke I contacted customer service and they promptly sent a second bag. I used the second bag on an overseas trip and again, treated it as one would treat a carry-on. Same wear pattern, same place, after only one use. There is a lot to like about the bag but the angle of the zipper at the bottom end of the bag simply invites excess wear.

High Price for Terrible Quality
I fell for the reviews of this product on its own website like I'm sure many others did. It looked like the coolest new suitcase to hit the market with all the extra features (the collapsibility was what really sold me because I live in a small house and saving that room was huge). It turns out, they must only post the best reviews they select on their website from sponsors of theirs, because as you can see by the reviews on here and on Amazon, it does not live up to the hype. I don't enjoy when companies are dishonest like this first of all. To add; My zipper has already separated from the fabric in two parts so I don't expect it to last much longer. The zipper also has peeled apart in one spot and will not zip correctly anymore. The balance of the suitcase is terrible and if you load it with a normal weekend pack, it will constantly fall over forward. I found the extra features like the battery pack and the tray table useless because the plastic is so cheap and fitted so tightly that you can barely even get into these compartments unless you use a knife or something to that effect. It also is much smaller than other carryons that I have had. Overall please just save your money and skip the disappointment, I felt enough of it for everyone else!

Crappy Barracuda Travel Bags
I really like this bag in the beginning but he quality of materials is seriously lacking. The handle is tearing away at the top and the zipper around the corners are frayed. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS CRAPPY BAG!!!!I used a Samsonite carry on bag for 18 years (20 trips yearly) with no issues.

Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. Will not reply after 4 emails to try and get zipper fixed. 3 weeks and counting. Bags will break, it is my expectations that someone has customer service to facilitate their 5 year warranty.

Product never shipped and no refund…
Product never shipped and no refund provided. Really disappointed with Indigogo on this one.

horrible quality
horrible quality. bad zippers, plastic table/shelf on handle looks like a weak child could break it on accident. Not much perk beyond it folding up small to store before you take it out on it's first trip, where I expect it would likely fall apart before you make it home. When attempting to return after seeing the poor build quality we discovered they require you pay for your own shipping to send it back. Kind of a shady business tactic that only proved they don't care much for quality or customer experience. Their priority is making money and keeping it. They bank on the fact you wont be willing to pay to ship it back. Not a fan at all. Do not buy this product.

THE WORST OF THE WORSTP
Bought the case. Really a piece of junk. To return one needs a return authorisation. I’ve answered the same questions 3X. Totally unprofessional and annoying. DO NOT DO BUSINESS. THEY SUCK

Really disappointing bag with too many issues
I received this as a gift and knew about the company from its Kickstarter days. I wanted to like the luggage, but it is a really big disappointment. Here are primary issues:1. The bag just doesn't have much usable space - the large handle and battery pack both take a lot of space up inside. The bag fits considerably less than my other 2 rollaboards.2. The tray is useless - first, it is way too difficult to unzip and get out of the handle and once you do, it is so small, I could not imagine actually putting a laptop on it. Total gimmick.3. Overall cheap build that makes me wonder how long it will last., Zippers, interior clasps, handle...The idea of "smart luggage" is interesting, but save your money and go get something else. You can get a good quality bag for half this cost and add on a portable battery - you will have the same functionality with more space and better longevity.

WASTE OF MONEY!
Bought this case for my son to take to Europe. He used it as a carry on and when he got to his first destination the zipper tore off at the corner. The completely zipped zipper! He was forced to buy a new case to use for the rest of his trip. Needless to say he had to lug the Barracuda through three countries just to get it home. Contacted customer service, which you can only do through email, and I have not had a response. It has been two months. I regret wasting my money on this case. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

more disappointing than my ex-wife
I purchased two of these during the funding phase, one for me and one for my father who travels a lot. We waited almost 8 months to get them, after most of my annual travel was done. My father got his finally and I mine and they sat for sometime as neither of us was traveling. Finally i had a chance and I took it on a day trip from Denver to LA where I flew out and back the same day, and i was not impressed with a lot of the features I was promised The handle is very annoying to use, having to push the button to swivel it doesn't function the same as was originally advertised, usually i'm constantly holding the button to get it to swivel and roll behind me comfortably but then my thumb hurts after awhile, and the button itself is tricky to operate sometimes, my wife could never figure it out. and unless you know the magic tap, the handle is almost impossible to put down. The bag is constantly catching on its side or Tipping i'd lend due to the center of gravity and the pivot point and the short prop on the bottom, the wheels feel cheap and tons of friction on the axle not the way I'd expect a 'luxury' bag to feel. the velcro over the 'charging port' always catches when sliding the bag in and out of the trunk or over head compartments not to mention how unsightly that is on the side. And the 'collapsible' nature of the bag which was the main selling point is a joke compared to what was originally promised, I think it collapses an additional 2 inches? The tabs that lock it in place are cheap and constantly come out when I'm trying to put it together or disassemble it. And as easily as they pop out and how integral they are to the function of the bag, if you loose one, you now have a worthless lump of fabric, can't even function as a paper weight. I finally had a chance to use it when I traveled for my wedding across country and immediately from there to my honeymoon out of the US. This was very disappointing. After pulling it out of its bag, I pulled the slot open to charge the battery pack.. and the whole unit fell out as soon as i undid the velcro, you can see where it was just GLUED to the inside, and the glue wasn't holding it anymore, so that feature because useless and I ended up just stuffing the battery pack in my backpack next to the other charger I bought at Bestbuy for 20$. Then After traveling across country we were repacking to fly out of country and one of the zippers broke. The zippers themselves feel cheep and flimsy constantly catching as you zip them, i've had better zippers on McDonalds toys. I have luggage of the same size that I paid a fraction of the price for this that hold up better, have similar features and out perform this. all the neat features you can easily add, battery pack, scale, tracker.. etc. at probably a fraction of the price, non of these are 'integrated' as was originally promised. I won't even get started on the 'laptop tray' which is just a pure joke.. that is neither convenient or functional, the zipper hold it in is a constant fight.. the tray looks like some scrap plastic laying around from the shop floor, and the integrity of it is questionable. stay away from this product.i'm currently trying to get intouch with customer service/support but enough reviews have made me less than hopeful.

Wanted to love it but didn't
Wanted to love it- after all, it has a battery charger and laptop tray- perfect! But, the frills mean nothing if it isn't constructed well. Handle wouldn't go down first trip out. Second trip out, the zipper broke. Not worth the money at this point until they fix the table stakes items for frequent travelers.Customer service was poor- submitted request and never got a response. No number to call - only email. I would say go above and beyond if you want raving fans. We realize that it's a start up but then work to fix the problems.

Premium Price but Lots of Compromises in End Result
I paid a premium price to get something worth for several years, only to realize that the end product had made too many compromises:1. the quality of wheels were bad and made a lot of noises on pathways. My existing Muji luggage case made smaller noise and Muji only cost me one-third of the price tag;2. no side handle, so if I put it on top cabin of trains, I have to turn it 90 degrees before I can get to the handle;3. battery pack place is a joke. I know that you may have to consider air safety control and hence made it a power bank, but the way to open and use it simply does not match what was described in the Kickstarter campaign;4. the worst part: it does not stand up straight, and instead it got a 10-degree of inclination, and it means if I put something a little large on top, like a laptop backpack, then it will simply fall over as a whole.Sorry for this bad review but I simply have no reason to be happy at all, now I have to buy another luggage case so as to replace it.

Amazing service and product!
I ordered two Barracudas as a wedding present for my daughter and son-in-law. They are in the military and are on their way to a new location so it was a challenge to get these to them. Paul Clip at customer service was there to help get shipping lined up with their arrival. The Baracudas arrived with perfect timing and they are very excited to get to use them! This company has top notch service and product! Thanks so much, Paul, for your help!

One trip so far...
Received my blue barracuda collapsible luggage last week...took it for my first short trip. First of all, it looks great. In fact, I was about to carry it on the plane when they announced at the gate that they were looking to gate check bags. I was with my family and we had four bags - so, instead of lugging them, we decide to gate check all 4. Upon seeing the Barracuda for the first time, the airline worker at the terminal gate said - what bag is that?!?! That is one nice looking bag! I explained that it was a kickstarter campaign, collapsible, battery charger, laptop tray, etc. - she was so impressed....well, so am I.So far, I found that it's roomy. I like the belt tightener to keep everything in place. I do wish that it had an "expandable zipper pouch" - some of the bags that I have allow them to "grow" but this one is a fixed size. It's OK though as it's really meant for putting in an overhead cabin. It rolls great and the rotating rounded handle was easy to manipulate to make comfortable to drag. The rechargeable battery compartment is a little hard to open and the laptop tray is a little flimsy but other than that the construction, the look and overall functionality of the bag is great. I also like the TSA-compatible lock - what a nice touch.

Amazing
Traveling from California to Philadelphia on an airline was great. You can turn the handle to move smoothly down the isle. Had enough room for a week of clothes and so organized. This the best piece of luggage I have ever owned. Being a business woman it was very easy to use. Charging my phone while waiting at the airports and not looking for an outlet. The service from Barracuda was excellent. They really do care about my opinion if I suggest something, example: Laundry bag bigger. They would get back to me within 24 hours about concerns I would have. You honestly cannot beat Barracuda luggage & Service. I am going to get the backpack next. I am passing this information to all of my clients. The wait was well worth it.

Looks great but has teething problems
My new case looks and feels wonderful. I'm on my first trip with it. I must say it felt a little small when packing it for the first time but that is not a problem. The case feels a little low when pulling it - the swivel handle is great - but I knock it into my leg a lot being a taller person. It pulls nice and smoothly but will topple with a laptop bag set on it. My biggest concern is the rectangular plastic that protects the handle retraction space is catching on the handle as it is lowered and crumpling up preventing the handle from being fully retracted. A hassle when getting in a plane as you need to get inside the case to fix it. Not sure if there is a solution for this yet...

Impressive quality
I haven't had the opportunity to put the bag to use yet, that will come in November with a week long trip to New Orleans. First look impresses me with the build quality.

Worth the wait and a must for all travelers!
This carry-on is a must for all travels and was definitely worth wait. I love seeing this kick start project like this become a success. I like they are from the San Fran too...nothing like buying local just wish it was made in America too.
