I’ve had a wonderful experience with Alohause. Their communication is top-notch, and they were always quick to reply whenever I had a question. The apartment looked just like the photos on the website, which made the transition very easy. The check-in was seamless, and I really lucked out with the community in the house, my roommates have been fantastic. It’s been a great place to call home!
I love my experience with alohause, I continue to renew my lease. Rooms are worth it with locations and amenities. Everything is clean and safe and working in good condition in my apartment. Grateful for the option to have this sublet option in NYC and for the team at Alphonse for helping me out so much.
Very good location. Ample Space. Good roommates (depends on your luck ig). The staff were responsive and willing to coordinate time for repairs (most of the times). Trash was taken care of timely. No issue of hot water or electricity.Definitely better than most NYC short term apartments.
I'm so glad I found the Alohuse apartment online through SpareRoom, per my nephew's recommendation. My daughter has accepted a 6-month Co-op in the Financial District, and she prefers to stay near Times Square for easy access to her NYU friend. The location is excellent and very safe day and night. The metro is only a 5-minute walk away. She met her roommates, and they are about her age and get along very well. You can get everything you need from Target, which is 10 minutes walk from the apartment. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting NYC.
Renting from Alohause was a wonderful experience! They made the process so easy to secure housing for my daughter’s fall semester at college. The apartment was beautifully furnished, clean and the bed was so comfortable. The apartment had everything you could need. Her roommates were fantastic and the neighborhood was great! I would highly recommend renting from Alohause for your stay in New York!
It was so lovely staying with Alohause they were very attentive and took care of anything that was a concern. It was very clean and cozy and I felt very comfortable staying there and during my stay I made great friends whom were my roommates! I would definitely book a stay with them again! I would highly recommend renting with Alohause if you are staying in NYC!

Overall Alohause has made my move to NYC a lot simpler. I wanted to check out different neighborhoods in NYC before finding a long-term spot and using Alohause made this relatively easy. The Brooklyn location is in a very convenient spot next to the M and J trains which I liked. Support has been very responsive and helpful.

I have been living at Alohause for the past 3 months and i am extending my stay to a year now because i have had a great experience living here, great location in the heart of times square, great sized room with incredible rooms especially for the price it is a definite steal! when i had a problem, maintenance was fast to respond and offered different options to help. The area is safe and fast paced and the facilities that the house offers are incredible, such as a gym, laundry facilities, a roof and a balcony and vending machines. You also live on top of the M&M store, what better location than this! Highly recommend it!!

I’ve lived in two different Alohause rooms this year, and I’m about to rent another. The staff and agents are super easy to communicate with, and have always worked with me to find a great room that works for my situation.Additionally, they have so many different rooms across the city to choose from. I’ve also never had a negative roommate experience while living with other alohausers. Everyone has been so cool and respectful. I highly recommend their rooms at 1600 Broadway, there’s a variety of different rooms for various price ranges and the building staff is so kind and helpful.
I was looking for an apartment in NYC for two months and found one very easily with Alohause. To be honest, there was a moment when I thought it might be a scam because, after transferring the money, I did not hear back from them for a long time. I wanted my check-in information, but despite several emails and calls, I did not receive it. It was unsettling. However, I eventually received the information and they put me in touch with the person who was going to check me in. She also took some time to respond, but she did eventually. When I arrived, the key to my apartment was in a key safe outside the building, and I was able to check in without any problems. The room was clean and looked exactly like the pictures (I was in Room 1002 in the apartment on the Upper East Side). The apartment was in good condition, and I had nice roommates. The bed was very comfortable and I had four big pillows, which helped me sleep very well. You could tell that they had put some effort in. Thanks to Alohause I had a wonderful time in NY. I also got my deposit back. It took about two months, but I got it back. So, all in all...There is room for improvement in terms of response time, but I would definitely use their service again.

The apartment was as shown in the listing, clean, comfortable, and in a great location.At one point there was a small issue with the air conditioning, but the team handled it quickly and professionally.
