STAY AWAY FROM WUSTHOF!

I wanted to buy a knife, Classic Craftsman, I saw on wusthof.com but couldn't. I wrote a email asking how come Wusthof delivered to Denmark and Finland but not to Sweden and where I could buy that knife from delivered to Sweden. They ignored that mail so i had to mail again.Then I got the answer that they didn't deliver to Denmark?! Wich they do but that wasn't the question! And that I probably could find the knife on Amazon wich is false! They don't sell it on Amazon Sweden or Germany. I mailed 2 more times asking if there was any supplier who actually delivered to Sweden or if they could make an exception and sell to a knifestore in Netherlands I usually buy my knives from. They ignored both mailes and haven't answered anymore.My customers who come to me to get their knives sharpened often ask about tips on what knives to buy next. I have now started recommending them to not buying anything from Wusthof. I give the same recommendation to people reading this post. After my experience and reading other peoples comments this is more or less rutin by the wusthof support team. They ignore all mailes that they can't give an easy answer to. I'm lucky to not have payed for an order and getting trubble with it.

Bought a boning knife about 25 years…

Bought a boning knife about 25 years ago, it has kept a great edge with minimal sharpening over the years. Favourite knife. Handle broke the other day so I contacted Wusthof about repair options. Their response was to send me a brand new one under warranty free of charge. Excellent service!

Contacted customer care as had found broken handled knife in a drawer. Once I could prove it was a Wusthof with the engraving on the blade they sent me a new knife without hesitation. Excellent customer care.Thankyou

Would not recommend these knives

I got my knife as a birthday gift. Was chopping some vegetables when the end snapped off. Very dangerous.

I am so upset with WÜSTHOF

I am so upset with WÜSTHOF , 4/2/25 I had approached the company via messenger as I really wanted a good knife to celebrate my birthday tied in with the 25th year of being a chef. WÜSTHOF came back 3 weeks later to say yes they were happy to supply me a gift to celebrate my achievement. I was given an email address to contact which to this day nobody has responded. I did get another message on may 21st after I had contacted them to ask if my mail had been received to say sorry that nobody has been in contact. I have left a few messages since then and they haven’t been opened at all. You can’t promise someone something and then just turn your back on them. Throughout this time I have had massive mental health problems with suicide. I just wish you would have done what you said you would. 😔

Outstanding customer service

Outstanding customer service. I won’t go into the quality of their products—anyone who knows anything about knives already knows how good they are. I recently had to contact their customer service (both EU and UK, since I bought the knife in Italy but now live in the UK) regarding their lifetime warranty policy, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. I was genuinely impressed by the efficiency and professionalism of their service.

Very poor customer service

The knives are very good, but the customer service is deplorable. They don't reply to emails if there's a problem. Shipping is very, very slow. Following an order, they asked me to post a review of the product on their website. I gave it two stars because the knife was very good but much too short. In the end they never published this review. They only publish positive reviews, so I wrote to them again: no reply.Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

Says 10% off if you subscribe. And no code given. Emailed and still waiting for a code. Stupid why make it so difficult. Just email or show the code. Annoying.

Excellent products and customer service

Excellent customer service from Wusthof, in particular Holly. We've had a set of knives for several years which have been excellent. When we had a problem with one, it was put right straight away.

Firstly my knife snapped in half

Firstly my knife snapped in half , as a a chef I was upset , so after contacting them , customer support swiftly got back to me and replaced my knife …Best customer service ever received , I will continue with them .thank you Holly !

Fantastic customer service

Had a set of these great knives for over 15 years. Had a recent problem with the most used one. Asked customer service if there was anything could be done and they sent a new knife. Guido in customer service was absolutely excellent. In this day and age a fantastic after sales service which underlines just how good Wusthof is.

Non-existant customer service. Avoid

Utterly abysmal customer service. Ordered an expensive knife block and very excited to make the jump to Wusthof. Block came missing the 20cm Chef Knife. The UK website was incorrect in the description of what was included, on investigation the Global and EU sites were correct. 3 emails to customer service over a 2 week period - no reply. Returned the entire thing. Excellent knives let down by an utterly abysmal customer service. Would not trust them for warranty which generally justifies the price tag.

Shocking customer service

Shocking customer service! I ordered two kitchen knives for my partner on Sunday 1st December and paid for them to be delivered by Thursday 5th December. When they had still not arrived by Monday 9th December I emailed their customer service team and nobody replied. I had to chase the customer service team again on Wednesday 11 December for them to reply with the screen shot of the delivery information and no other context. The screen shot was no use as the last update was Tuesday 3rd December so did not update me regarding the location of my parcel. I’ve now had to chase them again to ask if another order can be shipped or for them to chase with the delivery company. This is especially poor when you take into consideration how much money the knives are worth.

My knife never arrived

My knife never arrived, went elsewhere, courier error. It's now more than two weeks since I ordered it and Wustof don't really seem to be doing much about it. Not impressed, which is a shame as the knives are really good.

High Quality products - annoying email Spam

First of all - the knives are fantastic and the quality is outstanding. However once you purchase from Wüsthof - you will get daily spam emails from Wüsthof EMEA to rate their products. This goes on until you unsubscribe from their emails. Incredibly annoying and very poor behaviour for a company that makes such great products. This is so annoying that we actually stopped buying from Wüsthof.

Lifetime guarantee...not honoured, until I'd emailed multiple times

Lifetime guarantee...unlike others writing reviews on Trustpilot. Guido from Wusthof sent me this (email below) when I shared a knife blade that had very dangerously detached from it's handle whilst being used to cut cheese:"Of course I understand what you mean.But unfortunately I can't replace something that no longer exists.This is really the only way to estimate the value of your knife."I was offered £12 towards a new knife meaning I'd have to pay the difference. I don't understand why a lifetime guarantee is selectively honoured? This is a money off offer and not a lifetime guarantee. Update - after a 9 day gap, I heard back from Guido who upped the gesture to £20 off. More emails and then as I hoped the lifetime guarantee was honoured and a replacement knife sent. I'm grateful. It took 17 days and being assertive to achieve. The whole experience was a topic of conversation with friends and family and in the meantime I'd bought a recommended Victorinox knife. Isn't that a dreadful shame as before I would have lauded Wusthof and been a lifelong customer.

Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service! About 9yrs after being given a knife block set, my utility knife broke. No receipt, no order number or purchase date. Two emails later with a friendly and professional Guido, I received a brand new replacement knife through the post! Thank you so much! I love Wusthof!

No refund poor customer service

I bought a knife mid August, but it was the wrong size, subsequently I submitted a return following their return process it was send via the post office tracked and was received by Wustof. I have emailed them 3 times and they claim they have not received it now I am out £140 and still haven't heard from them. A company that makes an outstanding product is let down by deplorable customer service.
