Over hyped, over priced, inadequate.
Without doubt, this is the worst blender I've ever owned. It refuses to blend even a fairly liquidy pate, to which I've had to add MORE liquid, and it STILL won't blend. What is the point in paying this much money for a machine which requires this much babying? I'm going to have to sell it, and get a better (and vastly cheaper) blender instead. Have been looking through reviews, and there are blenders out there for a fraction of the price, that don't conk out over a few cashews that have already been soaked for 24 hours. Ridiculous. I even bought the tall jug, separately.

HUGE FAIL! Do not trust!!
HUGE FAIL!! DO NOT TRUST! We loved Vitamix and had very good experience with ours so bought one for our daughter. The brand new machine broke nearly immediately and they insisted on repairing instead of replacing it and when it was returned repaired it broke instantly again. They refused to replace it and it has spent more time being repaired than being used. THIS ONCE GREAT PRODUCT SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A TOTAL FAIL.

Disappointed- machine doesn’t work
This is a great machine and I was so excited when receiving it for Christmas last year, brand new. However I was seriously disappointed when upon my first use with it it threw up a code for overheating when there were plenty of liquids. I did trouble shooting with customer service and instead a replacing a faulty machine, they repaired it so I now have a refurbished machine for the same price as brand new. It worked once since it has been repaired but now it throwing up a new code and will not even allow me to use it. I explained the situation to customer service and the best they can do is repair it again. I am seriously disappointed and this has been very inconvenient for me as it takes 2 weeks to get it repaired. I dont trust that it won’t just break down again a third time due to a faulty circuit. ***BEWARE****

Very powerful motor
I've had my Vitamix for years: it truly has a powerful motor. I never invested in kitchen machines, in fact I don't even have an oven or microwave, but the Vitamix is the one item I invested in - and can't do without. I've used it countless times over the years. Prior to that, I had bought a 25-years old Vitamix from an online marketplace that still worked quite well. Unfortunately my Vitamix did stop working once in the years I used it, and the EU customer service was not very receptive at the time. Luckily a family member (engineer) managed to discover and solve the problem with a replacement part. But that was somewhat disappointing and not very reassuring - I likely wouldn't have managed to get the machine to function again without his help. 10+ for the machine; not very impressed with the customer service.

Vitamix is by far the worst blender you can invest in. DON'T waste your money! My has given me a problem since the second week I purchased it. The second week it started to smell burnt like it's going to catch on fire! I'm thinking because I had Warranty it would be OK ..I called customer service and the worst part they had me ship it to them to get checked and fixed instead of replacing my machine. They sent it back to me and said it's been fixed and I will no longer experience that problem. Four days later, I'm experiencing the same burnt smell. It was so hazardous I was afraid to even turn on my machine. I have small children so I was afraid that it was gonna just blow up. I called customer service again and let them know the problem. They offered again for me to send it to them to get checked and fixed.. I had no choice but to send it in again. They sent it right back to me and told me they have fixed the problem again and even changed my canister. Still a week later I had the burnt smell. This was exhausting. My family members have a ninja and never had a problem with it. I'm sorry, but I do not recommend Vitamix to anybody. They say they have a warranty for seven years but will not replace your blender. They keep giving you the role around to send it back to them to get fixed. No one has time to keep sending it back. I will never purchase a Vitamix as a gift for anybody or recommend it to any family or friends. Especially due to their bad customer service. My Next reminder will be the Breville Super Q™ Blender. They have really good reviews on that blender.

My main blender container finally got a crack after 30 years of use. Ordered a new one online and received it promptly. Love this company and product.

Excellent Customer Service but Needs More Power
Excellent Customer Service but I though that the blending power would have been higher. I had the blender for a few months when my stand mixer vibrated and fell off the counter taking the Vitamix with it. I called customer service to arrange the repair and they said that they will fix it for free as a one time courtesy, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS MY FAULT IT BROKE. I was blown away and really appreciative of that.I just had a poor experience with a company whose product failed and I wrote a poor review. But it occurred to me that we should write both the good and bad reviews so I hopped on to write this past experience.

I purchased my Vitamix Blender from Costco
I purchased my Vitamix Blender from Costco Avon , Ohio . I had seen the demonstration @ Costco and was very impressed . I know most of the Smoothie & ice cream store use them . My friends here have it & highly recommended it for our Indian grinding , etc iHad it for the last couple of years , Very easy to use & clean up easy it . It is as noisy as my previous bleed . So far very impressed. It comes with a lifetime warranty . The headquarters of Vitamix is in Olmsted Falls ,,which is an added bonus in case of repairs etc .

Excellent experience
Excellent experience. I purchased a vitamix hat wasn’t really for me. I returned it in the same box, nearly package and quickly received a refund. The customer service is on point with this company. I suggest calling instead of emailing.

Loyal Vitamix user no more
Loyal Vitamix user for over a decade. Had motor issues with my most recent one, and arranged for a repair. Shipped it to them on my dime, and saw that it was successfully delivered from the tracking info. Never heard back so I followed up many months later and they claim they never received it and cancelled the repair order (but didn't bother to notify me??). And because they didn't notify me in time, my hands are now tied to resolve things with the shipping company instead. So now I'm out a blender and the shipping costs, and Vitamix customer service refuses to do anything to help me. Part of the selling point for Vitamix products is the durability and repairability - if this is how they handle repairs, I'm moving on.

Customer service OMG HELP
Customer service: Anne. 7/1/2025. She was COUGHING COUGHING. Having trouble talking. Then I explained since Vitamix had completely mangled my address in sending out a container I ordered, causing a FedEx exception, called me, and I gave them the correct address, and I just got it, but I suspected the tamper (sent separately) was never fixed. When Vitamix called they were focused only on Fedex. She asked me for my address 3x. THREE TIMES. Then she said "PO Box" and I said, NO, I never said PO Box. NEVER! It's not a PO Box. It's my UPS store. She said but will USPS deliver to a PO Box? ONCE AGAIN IT IS NOT A PO BOX. I GET MAIL THERE EVERY DAY. OF COURSE THEY WILL DELIVER.Yes I was super annoyed. She said she will disconnect me if I raise my voice.Vitamix makes fabulous products but their customer support? It's obviously outsourced and something is wrong.

I bought a Vitamix acent 2500 a month ago and it has already broken down and there is no phone number to call. We are so disappointed. We thought we bought the best product. The Ninja we have at home is much cheaper than before and it still works.

Made a better product!
I purchased the stainless steel container from the Vitamix store on Amazon and I received it yesterday evening. While the stainless steel gauge seems appropriate, I am sorely disappointed with the make and finish of this product. The container rim metal edges, especially near the spout, are somewhat rough. The container handle is hollow and welded to the body, and the weld seam is gaping (not flush and sealed) at the edges in several areas. This will ultimately lead to be a hygiene issue with accumulation of water and moisture and food particles inside the hollow handle. The stainless steel could also rust with due to the moisture inside the handle. The grey plastic protection panel between the spout handle and the container is thoughtful, to prevent scalding, but the panel is also raised at one end with is another cause for water and food accumulation. I expressed these concerns on the phone with a rep today (lmendez) and I was told that this is normal and this is the quality they deliver with this item. If I were to request an exchange, there is no guarantee that the next unit will not have the same issues I have found, this is the quality one should expect and it is normal. Full marks for her honesty I say… I was also told that the container has a 3 year warranty, but that this warranty does not cover cosmetic defects. So I figure, the above issues will most definitely not be covered under the 3 year warranty. I also agree with the other users that the measurements on the inside of the stainless steel container are printed ad not etched and the included tamper is very poorly made. IMHO, this is not the quality and response I expect from Vitamix - at this price point and the brand reputation they carry. Its is indeed hard to believe this product was is approved for sale with such glaring issue. I am not even bothering to use this and verify the good and bad experiences I have read in the other reviews… it's just a waste of time and money with this sub-standard product. This item is 100% being returned and not replaced or reordered. Please manufacture another one where the handle is safe were no food can build up inside nor moisture cumulate inside.

Always wanted one of these machines…

Horrible Customer Service and Order Processing, Almost in a Scamming Way
Blender was ok, this review is more for the website and customer service. Had a Vitamix from Costco and it works fine, figured I’d get a 5200 for my friend’s birthday this year since they’re having this 200 off some models promotion. Placed an order, submitted payment, boom, gave me an error message and nothing showed up. So I made an account and placed another order just to make sure I can track it this time. Guess what, it just sat there for two whole weeks in “status unavailable”. Checked with customer service, and was told “unable to locate an order using the information provided below”, and suggested that I “place a new order”, well, the order number was right there, on your own website, and the promotion was over now. Now I’m starting to think that it was a scam tactic of some sort to make all the orders during the promotion period fall through.

If I could give this company zero stars…
If I could give this company zero stars I would. My machine is 1 month over the 10yr warranty, I use it once a day for simple juice - nothing crazy. It now only goes maximum speed and none of the dials make any difference.I have begged and pleaded with Vitamix for any assistance and they flat out refuse to offer any help.I can't find anyone remotely near my area that will fix a Vitamix. So my option is to throw my $1000 machine in the bin. I have spend hours and hours online trying to find fixes myself. Up wood of $80 on parts and nothing has worked. As a nutritionist that had once recommended this product I will never ever buy one or recommend them ever again. Take this tip - buy a cheap blender under $100 even if it lasts you 3 years it's still cheaper to replace it with a new one than pay $1000 for this junk that lasts 10yrs and have to throw it in the bin because the company want nothing to do with you.

I misunderstood Vitamix quality. Guess it's just another blender.
My understanding was that Vitamix was the grand-daddy of blenders and I was excited to find a rather affordable model, Vitamix E310 Explorian, in the $300 range. I purchased 2 years ago and after many instances of poor performance, I finally took a video and contacted the company. The Customer Service response was immediate and thorough. I received a follow up email with many questions and replied. Planning on having this machine for the long run, I’ve always treated it gently – start from the lowest speed and increase very gradually. I’ve put in nothing a Vitamix should not be able to handle. As a vegan, generally soft roasted vegetables, or oats and water for oat milk. It’s not had a lot of use. Still, the machine will stop blending, it vibrates across the counter, and will rarely function without continually using the tamper. In the end, Vitamix suggested there’s nothing wrong with the motor, and told me to do all of the things I’ve done since day one. The end. Quite disappointing from a brand that I expected to trust.I will say the Customer Service and response time with email communications was outstanding.

Vitamix VM0200/E320 after some years
In the summer of 2019, I paid $350 u$d for a VM0200 (mexican model I think) in Costco Mexico. The comparable model is the E320. It has been used about 250 times per year making fresh fruit smoothies, creaming coffee with almond flour, and preparing thick hummus. It has been nosily, and powerfully mixing for six years now.BUT, within two years, I discovered the 64 oz. polycarbonate jar was wearing away where the blades throw things against the sides. I hope eating polycarbonate is not a health concern.AND the other thing I despise, is that after two years, the black ‘silicon’ handle on the jug began decomposing, or otherwise developed a sticky surface that cannot be washed off. I have to wash my hands after picking up the jar by the handle.

FALSE INFORMATION GIVEN BY VITAMIX - DODGY COMPANY
On the 25 December 2024 I left a negative review on Vitamix UK and never had any response obviously because they are too guilty after the false information I was given by email to my compatible product question email I asked Vitamix UK. So I am now complaining to you for manufacturing an accessory which is not compatible to every A3500i blender when Vitamix UK said it was compatible with my A3500i blender. The 12-cup food processor attachment which I got for Christmas which I was over the moon when I opened it and wanted one for years. I then find out that it doesn’t work with my A3500i at all. The A3500i has been getting sold on Amazon UK for years when it will not work on A3500i blenders in UK. There are loads of negative reviews on Amazon UK saying it doesn’t work on A3500i blenders in UK. So you are another dodgy company giving false information which I have got the evidence. I now wouldn’t recommend your products to anybody all because of the false information and incompatible accessories that are not compatible with every A3500i in the world. This A3500i that cost £250 is now worthless because it is not compatible at all. Vitamix should be so ashamed of themselves for telling you lies. 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
