They took your money, but your order never arrived. There's no point in contacting customer support. Terrible store and service. Don't order anything from them, and better yet, don't buy anything. Don't let these scammers continue to deceive people. Let these stores close down.

Worst customer service possible with knowledge ofg how to get nothing done . And the West Covina store shows discrimination while my wife was allowed to exchange her shoes but when I tried with same situation they said they could not help me. Now if that's not discrimination then I don't know what is. They did not remember that I was also there with my wife and I was the one who initially talked to them while manager allowed her to do her exchange when I went back to do mines he said no. You can't pick and choose who gets to exchange their shoes. That is discrimination and I can't believe the corporation allows it while the other employees in the store think they are to good to help customers with their problems and their main concern is shipping for them sells while they are at work and getting irritated because I have a issue. Bad service from manager and female sales person who is always on her phone which is more important then her customers.

Now that have read the reviews I’m the idiot for buying from vans. Obviously this product is a rip off now sad because I’ve bought vans almost my hole life I’m 42. Just bought three hats they arrived in 8x12 box so ya they were smashed into the tiny box. I looked at the box and was like there’s now way there 3 hats in here. But yep there was they are all creased and messed up. I contacted vans and all they said was sorry I will let the right people know about your situation and we will correct next time. lol ok so now I have 3 shit hats that I won’t ware and out 130 bucks. Im really not surprised about how little they care about peoples money but that how it is with these companies now the best thing as a consumer is not to buy from them and they will b gone. Beware of custom vans
Customer service is subpar. I ordered two pairs of custom vans. One of the pairs I ordered was made with a different color then I had picked out. I was able to initiate a replacement, however apparently it was denied. Customer service said I would receive an email from the customs team within 72 hrs regarding the replacement. Over a week passed and I never received anything. I had to contact customer service again to see what the status was just to be informed that the customs team didn't approve the replacement with no reason behind it. They did offer a refund for return and a 10% discount code. However the lack of communication on their end is unacceptable. I love my vans, but I'll probably be looking for a different shoe company to purchase with in the future. I don't believe I would order custom vans from them again.

Got to wonder how they are even in…
Got to wonder how they are even in business. Firstly failed to deliver an order which was literally 7 stops away. Then they cancelled the follow-up order without reason having already received the accepted confirmation. Conversely I also just ordered off Converse and zero issues with them so far. Converse clear winners. I usually like to have a couple of pairs of each, mix of hi and lows for different seasons and even started to buy the winter versions, but I'll not be bothering with Vans after this 5h1t5h0w.

Prices are affordable, but out of 3 pairs of boots I had issues with 2. In both cases the shoe deteriorated quickly with customer service trying to dissuade return claims.

Lost package, still got charged for shipping
My order got lost. 10 days later, I contacted their chat support as it was evident it would not resolve itself. After finally connecting to human dodging. the AI slop, the person took 20 minutes to finally figure out that my package was likely lost. So they issued a refund. But they DID NOT REFUND me for the shipping...Not worth fighting over $5 (CAD) but I will NEVER order from that website again.

Wish I had read reviews before shopping vans.com are a joke after finding what you want as you put information in you are asked to supply email address for a 20percent discount which then disappears you put your order in anyway get charged for item then after your payment is acknowledged separately you go back to website and order is not acknowledged the payment window supplies order number but vans cannot find order or will not acknowledge order you try love chat get given runaround ,try ringing phone lines they are closed you email still no immediate response my payment has been taken via klarna and confirmed as being paid this system gives concern that it's a scam but you annoy contact anyone for information

I ordered a hoodie and pants, and after confirming my order, I didn't hear anything from Vans for days. Then one day they told me that my order was finally available in the Brussels store. Great, but it was a Monday and I was away for the week. They told me that if I didn't pick it up within five days, it would be sent back to the warehousedespite the fact that I explained my situation to them.And they told me that once the item was returned to the warehouse, it would take a maximum of 10 days for me to receive a refund. It has now been two months and I still haven't been refunded. I have sent numerous emails to Vans and no one has responded. This is unacceptable! I do not recommend ordering from Vans!

Horrendous
Horrendous - I love Vans but ordering directly through them is a joke. Have ordered twice - the first time a pair of shoes was missing, which they did refund. The second time a pair of shoes was again, missing; these weren't big orders - is it really that difficult? A incorrect item I didn't order was in its place. I was told no refund, their investigation showed that all items had been delivered. It would be super interesting to see what their investigations were and if their stock levels were right! Love their shoes but I wouldn't bother unless you like hassle, and being treated like a liar.

I've been wearing vans for years now. I grew up being Hella emo and vans were pretty much the only shoe. I bought a pair of high tops and within 4 months both shoes have the soul of the shoes coming off. The glue is pure trash. its sad to see this company go down like this considering they have gotten more expensive.

I contacted Vans after 3 months when ny shoes appeared to be faulty. I did an online chat and was asked to provide some pictures by email - they offered me a full refund which was received promptly!

Can't cancel or change size even though order still "processing"
I order the wrong size for my teen - my mistake - clicked on UK instead of US - but on the confirmation I realised my mistake.I wrote to help online - asked to cancel order so I wouldn't waste everyone's time and effort and so I could reorder. Order says still processing on the site - but help online says no way to cancel or change the size. Wasting everyone's time as once shipped I have to return them.I call BS that that order was already processed.

Awful quality
Quality has gone downhill massively - have several slips ons lasting 5+ years - some even as long as 10 years! Last 2 pairs fell apart after a month. Got a custom pair and I think they were somehow even worse quality? Wouldn't ever give them my money again.

Poor Quality Product MTE Sk8-Hi
I bought a pair of £130 MTE Sk8-hi boots, within 10 to 15 wears casually at weekends the material has started tearing and streching around the eyelets. One boot has small elongated stretches which will begin to tear fully and the other has a large rip along the line of the eyelets this has been caused by doing up the laces and walking in them. My boots show no other signs of wear and tear, the sole tread is still immaculate. Vans Warranty and customer care team has put this down to wear and tear and do not consider it a product issue. I can see another review here that also discusses ripping around the eyelets on the MTE boots. Vans advertise these boots as durable, Made for The Elements and multi terrain. The quality is extremely poor, do not buy these. Vans will not be a responsible manufacturer and own up to their product quality and design issues.

I ordered a new pair of shoes and payed…
I ordered a new pair of shoes and payed with my PayPal account not realizing until the order was completed that my address was wrong. In less then 5 minutes I made every attempt to cancel or redirect my order and in every case I was told by the customer service that its completely out of thier hands and it too late. I was told once it arrives at my old address it will probably be sent back to thier warehouse and if that happens they can resend it to my new address. I know its my fault the address was wrong in the first place but this seems absolutely crazy they couldn't help me at all.

Double charged for order 30 days apart
Ordered at the end of November. Received the shoes, they didn't fit, so I returned them. The day they received them back they charged me a second time for them. They placed an order for the shoes somehow instead of receiving the return. Customer service is worthless. Couldn't understand the rep. Had to have her keep repeating herself. Getting a supervisor was a nightmare. The first rep kept trying to talk me out of it (why?). The supervisor lied. First said I would get a refund in 7-10 days and then said I would receive the refund today. I didn't. Not even an email acknowledging the refund (she said I would get that too). I buy multiple pairs of Vans a year (at least 5 this past year). No longer.

ordered a pair of vans trainers back in november, but through jd sports which states they are there partner company. the trainers arrived but were not the ones i ordered, so sent them them back with tracking. after a couple of weeks contacted jd they told me not there problem becacuase they have been sent back to the vans warehouse. contatcted vans they got back to me a few times and basicaly said not there problem. ripped me of nearly 100 quid. been tryin to get my money back for like 6 weeks now.

I used to love vans shoes. They would last forever ever since I was a kid my first pair loved him since then that's all I wear as many of us have but in the recent years the quality has gone horribly downhill now that you guys are outsourcing shoes that would last at least five years minimum ripped within six months terrible quality and now the one good thing was the cloud comfort the insoles the cushion which are the best cushions I've ever felt in shoes you guys are now getting rid of those I don't know who owns vans now who is doing the controlling of the quality and the production they need to be fired. You guys need to revamp the quality needs to get back to where it was whoever is doing this you guys need to have a real look at what they want for the company in the future of the company.

I placed an order on the 27th of November 2025,the delivery service was horrible as it took time. I had to constantly call and follow up on my order,just when I received my order on the 8th of December. They delivered an incorrect size,when I lodged a complaint about that they were not empathetic and told me they'll refund me. I then asked them why resort to refund instead of trying to get the correct size, it's now almost month with the back and forth with them. They had the parcel collected for refund process and it has been inspected since forever ,it's now the 25th of December 2025 and I haven't received my money back. They have the parcel with them and I have been calling in and sending emails they are not of any help. Their online services is the worst, I have dealt with Tasneem and Mabasa in this query but it hasn't been resolved. All I want is my money and not further interactions with them,they keep saying they are awaiting confirmation for the refund,they are crooks because they have the item at the warehouse,all they need to do is process the refund. I warn you that Do not order anything from Vans South Africa, very incompetent,and horrible service. I want my money back.
