Uber Eats, when you lie on your CV
Uber Eats as a company is the equivalent to someone who can’t swim and has no arms being a lifeguard. I have never seen a company so utterly terrible at the service they provide. A bunch of trained baboons on peddle push cars would do a better job. And when they do dump your drink on your food or send you wrong items, cold because they took your food on a tour of the local area. They won’t refund you nor give you a reason why they won’t. I would trust the Mccans to baby sit for me before I’d trust uber eats to deliver for me as a business.

Horrible first experience and will never use again
Placed my first order. Was overcharged. Spent an hour or more on chat trying to resolve it. Long, long waits. Support personnel refusing to handle the problem, even closing the chat on me before it was done, going in circles, re-explaining, no solution. I will never use this company's services again.

Uber Support is hardly any support
Uber Support is hardly any support. It's worse than talking to a ball. Firstly they don't have any way of calling and taking to someone. Their app support is a both and says it's beta, but it's mistake cost you. The support on Uber web, is equally terrible. Basically rather than actually reading the individual issue, they look for a generic reason to decline support and hang up the chat on you. I ordered via Uber eats, noticed before ordering that its geolocation was being glitchy and putting the delivery address as a random (not even close) hotel, vs my home. I changed it and it showed it changed but as soon as I pressed confirm order, I saw that it actually didn't make the change and had the wrong address in the order. I immediately tried to change the address in the order and there was no way. I tried to cancel right away and it would not cancel without still charging me the full order. All this within 5 seconds of placing the order. Left with no choice, I cancelled the order to make save wastage of food, effort and a driver delivering it to a hotel where it just gets chucked out. So while I did everything to correct Uber's error, it not only made the error, then didn't allow correction, didn't allow refund / service recovery of its error, and charged me full price for it's glitch and complete systemic fail. I will not have to dispute this charge via my credit card. Terrible app and even worse customer support / support policies. No accountability. They need to be dethroned from them monopoly. I will go out of my way to find alternatives to them.

If I could give zero stars, I would.I prepaid CA$96 for an annual Uber One subscription valid through November 29, 2026. After disputing a charge for missing items (which my bank ruled in my favor), Uber placed a $24.92 “outstanding balance” on my account and restricted access.Despite having paid in full for a yearly membership, I was locked out of the service.I had to escalate repeatedly through support, send formal written notice via registered mail, and initiate dispute procedures just to have the incorrect balance removed.After finally lifting the balance, Uber terminated my prepaid annual Uber One subscription and is now refusing to refund the unused portion of the fee — citing vague “policy guidelines” without identifying any contractual basis.The issue isn’t the money alone. It’s the process.Support responses were scripted, inconsistent, and required formal escalation to get basic corrections.For a company of this size, customers should not have to send registered legal notices to correct account errors or recover prepaid subscription funds.Extremely disappointing experience.

I was entitiled to a refund towards receiving a wrong damaged order some other food other than what i added to my cart.And uber help team understood my problem...But what they did was they just confused me with their cheat message by saying i have been refunded by not mentioning the amount upon checking later i realized that the refund issued was £0.00 which was a no refund.Im gonna put this foreward every where whereever possible including leagal proceeding towards cheating the consumer using their such cheap tactics..Beware You messed with the wrong person..wait and watch now

I have been an uber customer for about 8 years. I have over 250 rides, and about 50 deliveries. Over the years i have had a lot of dangerous drivers running red lights, speeding, ect. But today was the last straw. Today i placed an Uber Eats order for a restaurant less than 5 minutes from my home. 1.5 hours later i got a trip delayed message on the app. I checked on my order and the driver had picked up my food, drove right past my house, with my order in the car, almost 40 minutes away to deliver another order. This would have placed the food order over 2 hours so i cancelled. I believe this is reasonable. I never received the food i paid for and uber refused to do even a partial refund. I don’t think this is reasonable service and i consider it fraudulent. So does my credit card. Uber customer support was incredibly hard to reach and when I finally did they said sorry and disconnected. I have deleted my uber account and wont be using the app anymore. Its a shame that despite thousands of dollars Ive spent over the years with Uber, they are happy to throw it all away for 34 dollars lol. Bye

They don't show the price or the minimum ammount when you order from them. And it costed me 17 francs the delivery alone! I contacted them and they said they have increased the price. But not why it is not displayed because who would order, then!? I don't get how these companies are let to operate like scammers on the market.

absolute trash company,ordered from a place nearby and told 25 mins, as soon as order went through went to 45 mins.. driver 15 mins away parked outside wrong restaurant so he can double up orders.told uber to cancel they would charge a penalty or let me pu myself. falsely claiming it always gave the late arrival time (before the driver took a second order) and just kept going around in circles.it had been 35 mins and i asked them to explain how i can re order the same meal and the app is claiming the food would arrive faster than my current order. ignoreddriver showed up said thanks for my cold order and called him out ,he just walked away didn’t want the conflict.uber eats did nothing ofcnot the first time, just absolute trash

Misdelivered Alcohol
Uber Eats needs to address some alarming safety and customer service issues. An Uber Eats driver misdelivered a Total Wine alcohol order to my doorstep, even though I wasn’t the customer and never placed an order. What’s worse — no one checked ID, and the package was simply left there. This is not a small mistake. Alcohol delivery legally requires ID verification, and leaving it unattended at the wrong address is a major policy violation. I took the initiative to bring the package back to Total Wine myself, which is something the delivery service should never put a random resident in the position to do. I attempted to contact Uber Eats through the only channel available to non‑customers — their website form — and received no response at all. Uber makes it nearly impossible to reach an actual human being unless you are already a customer, merchant, or driver. Based on my experience, Uber Eats shows poor reliability, unsafe delivery practices, and very limited pathways for public communication, even in situations involving potential liability. I hope they will take proactive steps to improve these areas for everyone’s safety.

Over the last 4 months I’ve had…
Over the last 4 months I’ve had repeated problems with Uber Eats and the way they handle complaints has been awful. Multiple orders arrived extremely late (nearly 2 hours on a few occasions), with food cold and not safe to eat. That’s a basic food safety issue.Most recently, the driver spilled coffee all over the food so everything was soaked and completely inedible. I reported it with details/photos, and again they refused a refund or credit.If an order arrives unsafe or unusable, customers should get a refund. Uber Eats needs to improve delivery standards and stop refusing refunds when they clearly mess it up.

I ordered chicken biryani and fries .The food arrived within 30 mins ,which was impressive .The biryani was well seasoned and flavourful ,though slightly oily.The fries were still warm and crispy ,packaging was secure with no spills .Overall it was a good experience but reducing the oil in biryani would make it perfect

My order did not arrive and it was £36! This was 3 weeks ago and I still have not found a way to contact them. I tried the help section and there is no picture of delivery. I waited for support on the chat and it still said waiting today.. 3 weeks later. So I started it again and it said its too late!! I even saw it said my order was delivered to next doors address, I saw this today and my neighbours and I do not speak they didnt give me my order, I was home!! I order all the time from supermarkets because I have health problems. This has been a joke and they do not care. If you order, just know they may take your miney and not give you your food and good luck contacting them! The shop says its not their problem too so just throwing away money.. shocking!

Driver sucked. Stole my food. Store was full of idiots that told me to cancel then I was at fault for cancelling and still paid to have my food stolen. Never ever use this crap again.
