Youth Station Hostel - RomeBE CAREFUL!! It's the WORST HOSTEL I've ever stayed in my life!! It was a terrible experience and I DON'T RECOMMEND it to anyone!! The owner was making very offensive comments against me and my mother and I took many screenshots which they have already been sent to the POLICE!! They also gave me a TORN BLANKET to sleep (it wasn't hot at all that period) and someone from the management bothered me late at night and he's VERY RUDE!! Even though I HAVE PROOF MY RESERVATION NUMBER OF STAYING THERE, he accuses me of being a competitor in order to mislead people who read my review but THAT WON'T WORK!! I've never seen such UNACCEPTABLE and BAD behavior from another hostel owner like I see in this one!! Also the bed was DIRTY and when I asked for another blanket they gave me one that wasn't in good condition as well!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOSTEL!!Trip advisor refuses to publish my GENUINE review and as it seems, they refuse to publish every negative review about this hostel acting in their favor without any excuse!! STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!

I submitted a review on their website for a company I booked a tour with in Nov 2025. My review was instantly flagged and not published because it was "not current". After raising a ticket, I received an email confirmation letting me know the review was now published. Clicked on the link, and no review, of course. Raised another ticket, and this time, was told that the very same review they claimed they published, was now unpublished because of profanity. After more than ten email exchanges with this so called "user-generated content" operator, its sure to say their support is just bonkers, flavored with incompetence and pure stupidity.

They deserve a minus 10 stars. Their app is broken and they don’t care. It booked me in a room 10 days in advance instead of that night. I wouldn’t even be in the state then. I called to rebook for that night and they had a non-English speaking customer service rep deny my repeated attempts to rebook or refund my money. Trip Advsor tricked me and cost me money

DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANY BOOKINGS! I have been trying for weeks to get a refund on an excursion that was canceled due to the weather. They issued me a $66 refund out of $318. I have multiple documents saying I was due for a full refund and also many emails from them saying they would issue it and did not! They are a fraudulent company and at this point I am going to escalate this to small claims court. I highly suggest you document everything if something goes wrong on your trip. This is unacceptable and also unfair. I have used them for years and it seems like they take advantage of the people who make their business run.

Instead, it was a disappointment from start to finish.My wife ordered salmon — it was fine. I ordered the $56 Short Rib Special with risotto. The risotto was overcooked and pasty, completely flavorless. The “short ribs” were shredded pot roast — neither short nor ribs, and visually unappealing. My friend’s chicken parm came with overcooked spaghetti. His wife ordered the same short rib special and had the same bland result.We sent both short rib plates back and reordered. Our replacements arrived 45 minutes later — after our spouses had already finished their meals. So much for a romantic dinner.The manager apologized and promised complimentary cocktails that never appeared.Slow service. Poor execution. Overcooked pasta in an Italian restaurant — in Naples.A pretty view isn’t enough.Never again.

Beware of the toilets at this wine farm!
This is a beautiful wine farm and we enjoyed the meal we had in the garden. But I found using the toilets quite offputting. All the toilets are for both male and female and each time I went, I came out with the bottom of my shoes covered in urine. An experience preferably not to be repeated!

This booking platform does not care about client satisfaction.
We were loyal customers for 8 years. We planned and booked many trips through them. One time, we made a simple mistake and booked a Spanish-language tour instead of English. The cost was about $50. Not a big amount, but we had to take a 1-hour train each way to attend the tour.We informed the guide that we do not speak Spanish. He made zero effort to help and later promised a refund. That refund never happened.What followed was even worse. Customer service showed no interest in solving the issue. No responsibility. No respect for loyal customers. One small mistake was handled horribly from start to finish.If this company wants to grow, they should seriously learn from Amazon’s customer service approach.We are closing our old profile and moving to other booking platforms. I do not recommend this one.

Avoid at all costs
Avoid at all costs. They only publish good reviews. We recently took a three night trip to San Blas that was highly rated. In reality there was no communication between travelers, drivers, accommodations, etc. Nothing was as described. Only through the kindness of one captain and a transport driver were we able to get back to Panama City. Sadly San Blas islands have become a tourist dumping ground. Look for reviews outside of trip advisor

Welcoming atmosphere
Welcoming atmosphere. Arriving on the drive .valet greeted me with a warm smile ready to serve. Check in was fast . Unsure how to work the lights in the bathroom. I called the front desk . A very bubbly n professional but friendly lady answered her name was Kia she helped my work the hotel fancy light system. Kia also took my breakfast order the next morning. I will for sure tell friends and family where to stay when they visit

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They canceled our reservation last minute so we showed up with no idea we wouldn't have a ride. Then they did not refund the entire amount, so are currently waiting and trying to contact someone for our money back with currently no luck.

As a business owner, I find TripAdvisor to be one of the least reliable platforms when it comes to unbiased reviews. Their review policies appear inconsistently applied, if at all. We have received clearly fake reviews from competitors, and despite providing documented proof, TripAdvisor has refused to remove them.Even more concerning, we have seen reviews posted by individuals who have never dined at our restaurant, which completely undermines the platform’s credibility. There seems to be no effective verification process, no real moderation, and no protection for businesses against false or malicious content.Because of these repeated issues, I no longer consider TripAdvisor a trustworthy source for reviews. In contrast, platforms like OpenTable, which verify reviews through actual reservations, are among the few reliable review sources left.

BEWARE!!!
BEWARE!!!! SCAMMM! We booked via TripAdvisor transportation from Nassau AirPort to Atlantis for 1/30/26 @ 5pm. When booking received it had been changed to 2/2/26 @ 5pm. Contacted TripAdvisor customer service and they advised there was no availability on 1/30/26 so they AUTOMATICALLY adjusted the reservation to 2/2/26. I advised that was unacceptable and not what we originally requested. Agent just kept parroting that there are no changes or refunds and refused to get a supervisor. BEWARE!!!

I’m a big fan of TripAdvisor hotel reviews. Unfortunately, I made a hotel reservation on their app. No confirmation e-mail, nothing on my account page, no nothing. Credit card was charged. AI search produced a help telephone number ( nowhere on the app.). 20 minutes, 2 agents ( both offshore), promised to email confirmation. Nada. Finales called the hotel itself and they sent confirmation email. Looks like TripAdvisor just fobs off hotel reservations to other travel apps. Don’t waste your time actually trying to book something on their site.

The appliances are not serviced as the don’t work ie: fridge/ tv cupboards doors flimsy. Rooms not cleaned properly.Staff very rude and aggressive. With threatening behaviour Over charging on services or exchange rates. Not honest.It’s in the middle of nowhere and will cost you an arm or a leg each time you go down the road to do shopping or night out. Absolutely mind blowing experience or purchasing a nightmare.

Terrible. So uninterested in listening to our issues and problems with some reviews that are dating 10 years back. So completely closing the doors infront of our eyes. First they gave us tons of work to get a solution on our problem and when I gave them what they wanted they still didn’t even wanna read. So said that this multimillion billion company have stolen the market so completely. Makes me so said that they want to hurt and destroy small businesses.
