From the first call to installation…
From the first call to installation completion was excellent. I also placed a call to Spectrum prior to installation to ensure I was ordering the correct product and that person was excellent too.

Technician they sent over was on time very professional did an excellent job
What a terrible service. After 10 years of loyal business they wont waive a silly install fee of $99. I am moving locations and giving them more business. Ill be looking elsewhere
If i could get 0 stars boy would i ever. The service plan went up for me and I called to ask for it lowered as I did not feel that was worth what i felt i recieved. I was told sorry you would have to bundle with our phone or tv plan. So i decided to shop elsewhere. What i found was that they were robbing me and i was done. i called in and tried to cancel, emphasis on tried, they were offering everything under the sun off and i couldn't believe it. You had your chances spectrum and i can't help that your business model sucks ass and didn't direct me to your "customer solutions" department. That is not my problem to know that. 30 minutes later i am to my last breath of asking please discontinue my service and the lady on the phone was so pushy and nosy about personal life situations, which is completely irrelevant and uncalled for. i finally got ahold of a manager who was able to end my service. I don't know if you guys play some kind of game there but holy moly you almost have to get a manger in order for them to listen to your words. worst phone call in my entire life
Very satisfied with the equipment, installation and product!
The technician was incredibly informative, professional and friendly. She was careful not to disturb previous carriers wiring or hardware and was respectful of the house and creative in using existing wiring. She left us with a full understanding of operating equipment and options. Followup questions were answered the next day by an friendly easy to reach technician in customer service, too. Working with Spectrum to change services and hardware for internet, tv and landline was easy and fast.
The technician had a hard test ahead of him, but he did the job very well and I’m thankful for him!! nice work spectrum!
From scheduling to installation the entire process was simple and direct without feeling mechanical. Scheduling was flexible to accommodate my availability and Brian was on time. The agent on the phone was friendly and helped me pick the packages that met my needs. So far, the value versus cost is exceptional.
The price was great so was technician. BUT local channels should already be included and not part of a package. Also they need to give a brochure with channels so I'm not flipping to death. I am enjoying the service though
I have been a "Vivint" client for many, many years. My inability to address the current issue with my "In Home Security System" required a technician to replace/install new equipment. From the moment I walked into/talked with, the "Spectrum" employee, until my technician had completed his Service Call in my home was less than four (4) four hours. An overall pleasant experience.
My new home was wired for coaxial cable by mistake, but the technician realized the mistake and contacted the office to change my order, then he rewire my home for Fiber Optic Cable.
After being told my installation would be free, I was hit with a $99 install fee about an hour after the installation took place. I had to call and talk to two different people who assured me I wouldn’t be charged but neither of them could explain why I received that email. Both people I spoke with acted like it wasn’t a big deal. Frustrating to say the least especially when my CC is on file and the email says they are going ahead and charging it based on this “confirmed and updated amount”.
Our Spectrum service experiences constant glitches, the service is often interrupted, from streaming to internet connection. We have complained multiple times and even filed the FCC complaint, but while Spectrum sends someone to fix issues, the issues don't get fixed, and at this point we think that Spectrum is over its head; perhaps it expanded too quickly and the technology is not quite there. I am speculating, of course, but the bottom line is that it does not provide good service.
Spectrum internet is the absolute worst. I live in a major metropolitan area so there is no excuse for accessibility. We pay for 500mbps download speed and we get 20mbps. There are constant outages. If there were another option in my area for internet, I would go with them.
I’m leaving for Korea in 10 days on orders from the Army. Both water and electric are keeping my utilities on until I leave. I figured I would get the same type of service with Spectrum. No, not even close. The passed me from sales rep to sales rep each one taking a turn trying to sell me every service they offered. They then near demanded I contact my landlord to figure out who was moving into the house after me so they could sell to that person. I still needed the WIFI for the next 10 days while I’m in the house. NOPE! They cut the service directly after the phone call. After the last rep told me I would have service until I left the country. WILL NOT be using spectrum again after that hour of harassment from their sales people.
THE PROCESS WAS QUICK AND EASY AND THE PEOPLE WERE VERY HELPFULL AND PROFESSIONAL
Literally the worst. It doesn't matter how slow the competitor is in your area or how much more it costs. Go with them.I lost internet EVERY day for multiple weeks and they couldn't fix it despite a sight visit. Additionally I tried to cancel the service and it took them DAYS to pick up the phone so I could cancel. No online option to cancel, nothing. To be clear there is no monthly contract, fees, or anything like it. It's month to month and they buried the cancellation process so deep into their phone system that it took me literal days to cancel the service. Predatory company, total monsters.
Tech damaged the water lines. No water in the house for 24 hours. I had to call the plumber to fix the damages, and still have not been reimbursed. Tech didn’t set up my landline. I had to call for additional service. Inspector didn’t call back for 5 days to confirm getting my email with the invoice for repairs. Very shoddy communications with the company. Totally dissatisfied so far.
One-star. No, zero-star. Comcast is a straight-up scam wrapped in customer service lipstick.I’ve been with them six damn years—loyal, paying on time, never late—and they’ve treated me like a walking ATM. Every year, bam, another ten bucks tacked on. Six years later? My bill’s triple what it started at. They call it "inflation." I call it theft.Tried to cancel? Good luck. Online portal? "Sorry, not available for your account." Phone? "You’re not the authorized user." I’m the guy who’s paid every invoice—how am I not authorized? So I jump through hoops, fax proof, finally get the green light… only for them to dangle a "loyalty discount" like I should be grateful. "Oh, we’ll drop it back to thirty bucks!" Yeah, after six years of gouging me for a hundred-plus?They don’t want you gone—they want you trapped. It’s predatory. It’s insulting. And it’s why I’m done.Comcast: take your "promotions," your fake sympathy, and shove 'em. You’re not a service—you’re a racket. I hope every long-time sucker like me finally wakes up and walks. And yeah, I’ll be posting this everywhere.
The technician did not arrive in the given installation window. When I call the support number I was told dispatch would call me in about 15 min to reschedule. It has been 45 hrs and no call. Then I received a bill from Spectrum for service and installation, while I have no service and no installation and I was told installation fee was waived by first rep I set up plan with.
