I had a very bad experience with…

I had a very bad experience with Hubspot: I am a crm integrator and we integrated Hubspot Crm using their Marketing cloud over a year ago. A couple of month ago, my client decided to switch to salesforce pardot. Since, Hubspot (our account manager) told us that our contract with them has been automatically renewed for a year and stopped answering our emails and don’t try to help us. This means that are meant to pay >20k for a saas that we don’t use (0 email sent since December 2025). I feel like we have been scammed and really won’t onboard any of my clients on Hubspot anymore.

Clunkiest piece of shit software I ever…

Clunkiest piece of shit software I ever used. It's slow, it's completely counter intuitive, it's bulky pretending not to be, it's HORRIBLE for anything sales. Its features are not thought through. Today I realized after having spent ca. 12000 hours in various CRMS that Hubspot is so much overcharging for what they are offering, it's insane. They also treat every customer like a child.

Expensive but comprehensive

Having used Hubspot for a few years and been very happy, I tried the alternative at MailerLite and soon realised you get what you pay for... Hubspot is expensive but it is also comprehensive. It does everything well - if you can afford it, which a lot of small businesses probably cannot.

Really bad customer care

Really bad customer care. Greedy!Missed cancel auto-renewal. Id expect some understanding, they proudly referred to terms accepted (which is my fault ofc), and Id expect more though from a company like this.

***NO REFUNDS!!!!***

***NO REFUNDS!!!!***Although I find the site not very user friendly, I was willing to learn for the reporting and integration advantages. I signed up for an annual subscription.....Same day I discover you are not able to print client notes to a preserved PDF. The only option is a JSON file which is unacceptable for my needs (I need to be able to show unedited date/time stamped notes w/ detail). Went in to cancel just hours after purchase to find no refunds allowed..... Frankly - any place with a 'no refund' policy (not even pro-rated) tells me everything I need to know about their integrity and product. Lesson learned to double check before clicking 'buy now'.

Do not trust

As soon as we signed the contract, all service disappeared - support goes weeks without an unprompted update, features quietly disappear behind paywalls, no solutions offered.Would recommend going with one of the newer startups, this along with Salesforce, Zendesk etc are dinosaurs that can't keep up anymore.

HubSpot has a lot of features

HubSpot has a lot of features, but it feels too complicated. There are so many menus and settings that it’s hard to use, especially if you just want something straightforward. It can be powerful, but the complexity makes it frustrating.

We switched from another CRM hoping for better automation and easier reporting. HubSpot CRM does deliver on basic automation and the workflow builder is fairly intuitive once you understand the logic. Still, there’s a learning curve that caught us off guard. Our team needed more training than expected, especially around segmentation and list management. We will still continue using though as it gets the job done.

I would call HubSpot CRM good but not…

I would call HubSpot CRM good but not amazing. It handles contact management really well and the activity tracking is probably my favorite part. I can quickly see who last spoke to a lead without digging through email threads. Where I struggle is with pricing as we grow. Every time we look into adding more advanced features, we hit another paywall. Also, some parts of the UI feel a bit crowded now that we have more pipelines and custom properties. It’s dependable, just be ready to invest time and money as your team expands

Automation of their services

Sequence and workflow automation works fine but it is still breaks due to Api integration with third parties.

We adopted their CRM mainly for better visibility between marketing and sales. I do appreciate how contacts flow from forms straight into the CRM and how marketing activity shows up on the contact record. That alignment is a real plus. The downside is that once you start layering in automation and attribution reporting, things get confusing quickly. Some metrics look great on the surface but take effort to truly understand. It sometimes feels like you need a dedicated admin to keep everything clean. It’s helpful, but not exactly low-maintenance

Absolute miserable experience

Absolute miserable experience. We've been using Hubspot for a few years and whenever we ask about features, they claim the developers are working on them and that they plan to release it soon. Then upon checking the Hubspot forums, you can see that these features have been requested for year with no progress. And while you wait, Hubspot is always finding ways to charge you more money. And to make matters worse, they've now discontinued the callback feature for support. So you pay them more and more money, wait for features that never come and jump through more hoops just to get support. Great business!

Overall it's pretty decent

The pipeline view is straightforward and easy for new reps to understand. Email sequencing is useful too, especially for outbound follow-ups. Where HubSpot falls short for us is flexibility around complex deal structures. We manage multi-product sales cycles, and customizing everything to match our process took a lot of trial and error. It’s reliable and will get your work done for sure.

I have mixed feelings about Hubspot…

I have mixed feelings about Hubspot CRM. It's not bad at all, just requires more planning and admin time than we originally thought. On the one hand, the interface is clean and I like how everything from emails to calls is logged in one place. It definitely helped us get out of the chaos of using multiple disconnected tools. On the other hand, it can feel a bit overwhelming once your database grows. There are so many properties and customization options that data gets messy quickly if you are not strict about governance

We moved to HubSpot CRM from…

We moved to HubSpot CRM from spreadsheets when our sales team grew past five reps. It definitely brought structure to our pipeline and made it easier to see where deals were getting stuck. The contact timeline is helpful, especially when multiple people are emailing the same prospect. That said, once we tried to build more advanced workflows, it got complicated fast. Some automation features are locked behind higher tiers, and the price jump wasn’t small. It works, but it’s not as plug-and-play as we hoped. I would love to continue using it but definitely want to see improvements

Stay away from this CRM

Stay away from this CRM. You will pay hundreds of euro's a month to find out basic features aren't included like CALENDER.The way they decides what's sales, what's support or Marketing is purposefly vague so you never get any useful MVP. Just,an expensive and complex note pad.Their support is all over the place.Their expensive onboarding is a once a week joke where someone watches you do the job you thought you paid him to do!

Overall, a total disappointment!

Implementing HubSpot proved to be extremely challenging. The pricing structure appears disproportionate to the value delivered. The level of support has been disappointing, with limited continuity due to frequent staff turnover. While the front end performs adequately, the back end presents significant limitations.Overall, this creates the impression that the focus is more on billing than on customer success.Organizations evaluating CRM solutions may wish to carefully compare alternative platforms before making a decision.

extremely, poor. Do not waste your time

I’ve spent days trying to complete what should be a basic task in HubSpot CRM — importing contacts — and the experience has been incredibly poor. The system repeatedly rejects perfectly valid fields, and when you attempt to create a new custom field (as the platform suggests), it immediately throws a vague “Sorry, error, try again” message with no explanation.I reached out to HubSpot support via live chat, only to be disconnected after being sent a generic forum link that didn’t address the issue at all. There was no follow‑up, no troubleshooting, and no actual support. This isn’t a user error — it’s clearly a system fault, and the lack of proper support makes it even more frustrating. If you’re considering HubSpot, be prepared to lose hours trying to work around problems that shouldn’t exist in the first place. My advice: think carefully before committing your time to HubSpot. The platform looks polished on the surface, but when things go wrong, you’re very much on your own.

Solid enough CRM

In the grand context of CRMs, it's fine and gets the job done. They have a bad habit of changing stuff for no reason and leaving you to figure it out, and adding a bunch of features that are not as good as other software just to try and capture marketshare. But all things considered, they have all of the connections you'd expect and they work well, and once you figure it out it's easy enough to manage.

Complete lack of customer care

Complete lack of customer care. Max Gall recommended a plugin to me which was ~£120 / month. Within four hours of signing up to the subscription (month to month) I realised it wasn’t what I asked for. Max agreed that he’d made a mistake and two months later I’ve not had a refund and payments are still being made from my account. I’ve been round the customer service team, legal team, contracts team and sales team. Everyone blames eachother. “There’s a new process in place, everyone’s learning it”, it “will be resolved shortly”. I’m being strung along. The sales agent, Max, just goes incommunicado at random. It took five minutes to take £120 off of me and we’re now two months into me trying to get it back. I’ll be going to Monday.com the instant this is fixed. Wish I’d seen the reviews here at 1.7 stars before I’d signed up.
