Take the money but don't deliver

Take the money but don't deliver. I bought a chair, they charge you on the spot. You don't hear anything for couple of weeks (rather than the 5 days they promise to deliver) and when you ask after two weeks they ask you for the order number. Very poor experience.

This company is a joke

This company is a joke. The way how they run their support and dealing with customers is really bad.I have Haworth Zoey chair and I can say the model has a design defect. After two years the back support of the chair broke. After 3 months back and forth they agreed to change my chair. Now again 2 years after the change same element same place same way broke. Definitely it's a design problem since the part is made of plastic and we all know the plastic age. Now again I am Goin the same way back and forth 3 months again and I really regret getting their chair. Their service is terrible slow, chaotic, completely not knowing what they do,

Good chair, horrible customer support. After 2 months I've been called 3 different names, forgotten at least once and have had 0 problems solved

The Haworth warranty is disappointing

The Haworth warranty is disappointing. After one year of using the Haworth Fern chair, one morning I sat on it and leaned back, and the plastic part that holds the backrest broke. I contacted the store in my town where I bought the chair, and they contacted Haworth. Haworth’s response was that physical damage is not covered by the warranty

The chair isn’t delivered to me

Company shipped my chair to my previous address because of their apple pay integration. I entered my actual address manually but the system override it via apple pay address. My new address was in SF and previous one was in BostonI immediately wrote to my old apartment manager and also requested a return label so my apartment manager can return the chair. But the apartment manager told me that they couldn’t find the chair. Although, the fedex shows a photo of it in the apartment. I told the situation to the Haworth and they didn’t do anything I paid for a product that I didn’t get

Exceptionally incompetent

Exceptionally incompetentI received a factory defective chair with the backrest mesh coming out from the frame due to poor gluing. After "support" told me that it's "not a problem" and offered 50 euro discount, they initiated an exchange. Then they told me to disassemble the chair by following assembly instructions "in reverse"... for press-fitted parts that get stuck once weight is applied to them. Obviously this is not how you disassemble an office chair. They then told me to just take the backrest off (this is not how the chair was delivered) and put it back in the box... the chair does not fit in the box with cylinder and wheelbase attached in any way. Finally I found on youtube instructions to disassemble the chair and yes, it involves a hammer. They actually sent me a video from their factory showing the same process though they insisted on taking the backrest off which did not solve anything.Just got the replacement chair with the SAME defect but on the other side of the backrest. This company is supremely incompetent and has ZERO quality checks and assurance processes. Will never touch again.

Unable to use gliders instead of wheels to prevent accidents.

Although when I reached out to customer service to ask about whether the chair wheels could be replace with gliders? They answered bluntly that “some customers were able to changed to third party gliders products “ so I explained that I have small dogs and I can’t have wheels on the office chairs as they will get hurt. The customer rep replied “ well you will void the warranty on the chair”This is most out of touch response. For this reason, I won’t be purchasing the chair. Just because they can’t support such a basic functionality as gliders that helps prevent injuries on small pets and small children’s from getting hurt.

Customer service very poor

The company needs to review it's fulfillment and returns process in the uk. Box arrived damaged, rattling inside. Return took 3 weeks to arrange and total return time was 1 month before collection. Customer service respond once per day making communication very awkward.

Terrible Packaging

I have just received my chair and Wow I'm totally disgusted with the packaging. The box was badly damaged. On inspection there was no protection for the chair, not even a plastic wrapper around it. Only 3 wheels and only one bolt. Can't check to see if the chair works as I can't sit in it. For a premium product they have completely failed on the packaging. This is not acceptable. I don't think this is just a one off, They clearly focus on the manufacturing of the chair and then it is just thrown in a box and hope for the best. Update*** I reported the problem on the day I received the chair, 11 days later, still no collection date and now they aren't answering my e-mails. Further action has been taken.

Don't buy if you want to avoid complains and legal actions

I requested the return of the items the same day they were delivered to me. After 13 days, they have not arranged the collection of the items. Of course, they will not refund until they receive the items. WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD. If you buy from them, be sure it is highly probable you will need to take legal actions against.

The arms have split open on my Fern…

The arms have split open on my Fern chair, it's frustrating after 6 years, but I'll accept it. What is not ok is customer support - there isn't any in the UK.I've exchanged a few mails with customer service about (paying for) replacement parts, but were told to contact a supplier. I have twice, without any success. If you're selling chairs for £1,000, then do better with your actual customers. Personally, I wouldn't purchase again from the brand based on experience.

They don't respect their 12-year warranty

My father bought me a chair as my college graduation present. Last week I was in a meeting, leaned backwards and the bottom of it completely shattered and pieces went flying everywhere. Fortunately I work from home, so no one got hurt.Fast forward to their customer service, they told me they could not help me because the chair had been fabricated in 2008 and was past the 12-year warranty. This was news to us as we bought the chair in 2016 from one their listed AZ dealers shown on their website! They then inquired if we had bought the chair "second hand" from their dealer which makes no sense. Why would a dealer sell us as second-hand chair?! If they did, we paid full price for it, and the situation is even worse than we imagined! In any case, this make absolutely no sense, as the warranty should always start on the customer's purchase date!I was surprised how poor their customer service is given how incredibly expensive this chair was. You'd think they'd take more pride in helping customers who help support "Made in USA" products. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Trust me, that won't happen as we won't ever be buying at Haworth again.

They were helpful at first but AFTER...

They were helpful at first but after we had already got the vehicle we were CONSTANTLY putting money into the car and after we had done paid over $10,000 on payments plus well over $2000extra on stuff bc of it constantly breaking down we had enough and asked them if we could possibly get into a more reliable vehicle, they wanted us to come up with $1500 for a down payment. I understand a business has to run but gosh damn $1500 after they knew we were CONSTANTLY repairing stuff since the 3rd week we had it. $500 may have been more reasonable. Oh yeah and it was almost paid off too by the way.

Would not recommend

I was very disappointed with the purchase of a Haworth fern chair. The delivery was significantly delayed, taking over a month and a half after the arranged delivery date to arrive. Upon arrival, I discovered the chair was already damaged with the seat adjustment lever broken and the bottom plastic part of the chair partially hanging off.The customer service has been unresponsive and unhelpful. They don't have a telephone line and only seem to check their emails once a week. When I requested a replacement, they could not provide a guaranteed delivery date.

They cheat with reviews

They cheat with reviews on their website. I left them a bad review and they just hid it. This is the secret of only good reviews on their website. I received the Soji chair and already in the process of unpacking I did not understand why it had such good reviews. Build quality is poor, loose parts. Defects and imperfections on the back of the seat. Dirty spots on plastic. It would be better if they organized a good product control than paid reviews to bloggers. Support responds for a long time or completely ignores. A total headache.

I wanted to buy a Fern with lumbar

I wanted to buy a Fern with lumbar. They had them on offer, but no lumbar. The dealer map on the website was broken, so couldn't get local help (now fixed). I had to SPAM various emails and still took over a week to get a reply. First reply gave a link to the page that wasn't working, which I'd said wasn't working in my email. Second email gave a contact in the UK, but they couldn't match the sale price and didn't even give a price for a Fern with the lumbar. I already have a Zody and Livery. The Zody is a great chair task chair. They clearly do make a great product. The Fern is usually in the A or S tire on reviews, shame the customer service doesn't match.I ordered a Fern from the Haworth Shop, so will leave a review for that when it arrives.

Frustrating company to deal with...

Based on my experience, I'm not at all surprised that they have an "Unclaimed profile" and "No history of asking for reviews."
