FedEx - Avoid like Corona Virus!

Recently, I ordered a Dell laptop costing about $4400. I was going to be in US only for a few days before I head out to other countries. Then Dell told me:(1) FedEx can't deliver to the hotel address or hold it at their facility for pickup - so much for a World-class courier.(2) Then, while delivering, FedEx lost the package - a $4400 package! So, what does FedEx do? You would think they would say "Mea Culpa" and try to make amends, right? Not FedEx - they are the world's leading couriers after all - how can they make mistakes? So, they make up a story and put the status as "Delivered on X at Y time". This entire story just boggles the mind.Dell has asked FedEx to investigate, while I have decided to move away from both Dell and FedEx until both of them see fit to call me and send an official apology. I am waiting with bated breath.

Definitely the worst delivery company in our experience

Definitely the worst delivery company of our experience. We have ordered an item next day delivery and each day FedEx send us a message to say it is arriving and then within hours send another cancelling until the next day when the whole thing is repeated the following day. Our next day delivery is now a week late! They also send a photograph of the same car park each day which could be anywhere in the UK. In future I will definitely not buy from Companies who use FedEx.

FedEx is plagued by inefficient shipping process

I have receive packages almost on a weekly scale. Most are shipped with FedEx from the companies I order from. I have no choice on how they ship to me. I have even asked to please ship by any other method. Their shipping process is all over the place. Inaccurate tracking plagues this company. I've watched some packages go to most adjacent states to finally circle in to be delivered. Very inefficient! Most items require a signature. They provide a process to sign digitally online, but after hundreds of packages I have yet to be able to do so! This forces me to have packages routed to a local drop-off point like Dollar General. Most times this adds an extra day to the transit time. On top, Dollar General struggle to provide a quick process for pickup. FedEx requires them to check ID, which I understand, but also requires a scan of the tracking barcode which is tried and tried again to no avail. The frustrated employee then either just gives up and hands me the package, or sometimes tells me they cannot release the package without confirmation from FedEx. Again, this is with my name on the package and showing ID. My complaint list wouldn't be this extensive if they could fix just a couple issues, but the combination of problems with this company makes shipping and receiving with ANY other company worth the time and cost! I honestly cannot see how they stay in business if this is the majority process.

FedEX fail to deliver

FedEX send an email that parcel will be delivered between 8am and 12. Then no communications and the parcel is now going to be delivered before 6pm 🤔The tacking app is a waste of time. No real time information. If DPD can deliver within an 1hr time slot, Why can FedEx deliver within 4hrs ? Another wasted morning waiting for a parcel delivery.

Please can everyone boycott this deadful company

Please can everyone boycott this terrible terrible company. If you are considering sending something using this courier I beg you to reconsider and find a reputable company.I've dealt with some awful people in my years and some incredibly bad systems But Fedex are by far the worst I've ever dealt with. I'd go as far as to it's malicious, their systems seem intentionally designed to confiscate communication.

She was able to coordinate with all delivery partners and resolve the issue with the delivery and we located the parcel - so the delivery issue was resolved efficiently by Tracey - Thank you.She is a credit to Fedex

FedEx cannot be relied on

In the future, I will ask a company to deliver via any shipping service except FedEx. They are very rarely on time and constantly use “weather delay” as an excuse when the weather is fine. I’ve been waiting over 10 days for a package that is sitting 25 miles away from me. This is not the first time; it has happened with multiple packages. They are completely unreliable and are not truthful about when a package supposedly is out for delivery. Regarding my most recent package delivery, when I checked on a package delayed nine days and being held at a nearby facility, they said that they tried to deliver, but they were unable to because I wasn’t there. I had anticipated this excuse from past experience so had requested that it be held at their local holding facility which has a very long working hours. The truth was the truck never came with my package. I think the real issue for me is that they are ultimately unreliable because they are untruthful as to what is happening with your package so you never know where you stand and what the true delay and expected arrival date of a package. Interestingly, I have found their overseas customer service to be excellent, but those representatives can’t fix the problems at local facilities.

DONT USE FEDEX ITS A SCAM, Hidden fees and charges, service not completed, no help in customer service!!!

Please Stay Miles Away!!!!Ordered parcel for xmas via parcellcompare to ship via FedEx from uk to slovakia. Paid for service delivery within 10 days with insurance up to £50 value if lost etc… All went smooth through network till it arrived in Slovakia then dead silence! Noticed there is no movement i contacted them and asked questions. Fedex refused to help was saying contact parcelcompare which i did but was slow of getting answers as a middle man. When fedex started saying we will not tell u contact the parcelcompare straight away alarm bells goes!!! As a person who runs business in uk and ships worldwide i would never tell client to go contact somebody else i give them answer and i help. Fedex just didnt. Anyway 3 weeks later xmas missed and still no sign of parcel. After lots of diffing found few contacts in fedex depot in slovakia very rude people, uneducated and unhelpful. They hold our parcel because it had chocolate on apparently - which was clearly stated on digital paperwork so it wasnt rocket science! But because their uneducated staff who cant speak or read english (not talking about their Slovakian grammar either) nor open digital files to forward further my parcel missed nephews birthday, xmas and some contains of gifts which was eatable gone off by then. Forgot to mention that they sent request to my parents to give them bank statement which is illegal to ask for plus other rubbish requests. So when finally Slovaks decide to move parcel after they ruined everything. Parcel was out for delivery after xmas and i am still waiting for signature and proof of delivery. Something so simple turned into disaster and best to end of story is that second parcel with very similar content posted 5 days later (had feeling that fedex was mistake and didnt want let my family down) via rpyal mail - arrived before xmas and without any problems. Not one stupid request no rude people, just straight delivery ahead pf schedule. Fedex - not a chance! Now is end of feb and my parents received fedex invoice of 42 euros fees to pay for a parcel i sent to them as a surprise and gift for little 2 year old nephew. Funny enough i shared it on social media on slovakian and czech people living in uk and amount of slovaks who experienced same freud is sky rocketing! Czechs never had issue so obviously its slovakian depot who is greedy! Would love an explanation of this and thanks to this experience i have now forwarded this details (mine and also many other slovaks) to watchdog, my lawyer and will be contacting other companies to sort this. As i think these stories are very interesting to dig into. DONT USE FEDEX ITS A SCAM!!!!!

Absolutely incompetent staff

Absolutely incompetent staff. Thiefs and lies are all I got. Websites are worthless. Package delivery dates are Absolutely a joke. Everyday this week they had me waiting to sign for a package by 8pm that was never delivered. When I checked it was still in Memphis even though they lied. They did this all week until I couldn't take anymore lies !!! Their websites say that I have zero packages even though I was emailed about their delivery of 4 separate packages that never occurred. I will never use FedEx again. Very disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What an absolutely WORTHLESS Company!

What an absolutely WORTHLESS Company!Initially, the package was scheduled for delivery today, 2/26/2026 between 10 am and 1:20 pm. Then they arbitrarily changed the delivery time to 5 pm.Cannot get through to anyone to speak directly to them about the problem. NEVER have I dealt with a more garbage company in my life. Use UPS and pay more to avoid the crap service and aggravation. 5PM came and went and STILL NO PACKAGE. Abysmal, pathetic company

Driver stole my parcel February 26

Driver stole my parcel February 26, 2026. Failure to deliver said signed by 999999999999. A Picture of the ROAD. Called FedEx and these idiots just give a Reference # but no resolution.This will be reported to the Police as well as to the BBB. Absolutely abysmal service by FedEx outsourcing their calls to most likely India.

FEDEX should not be in business!!!! They do not care and deliveries never come on time or when they do, directions are never followed!! Cannot stand to have my ordered stuff to come by FEDEX. Try and get a hold of their customer service....that is a total joke! First of all, none of them speak English, cannot understand them!

What a joke of a company.I sent a parcel with them 3 months ago ,it was Xmas presents for my son/wife and new granddaughter.They held the parcel in the USA stating more info required.I sent them all the info and they still refused to forward the parcel ,stating it was over weight,so I paid the extra chargeÂŁ11 and they still refused to ship .they then held the parcel stating it was to be returned to shipper and I had to pay another ÂŁ68 to ship back to me .now I have had a message stating that they have lost my parcel and require a full inventory before I can make a claim .What a shower of ####....I would avoid using this company at all costs they are supposed to be a multinational courier service but to me they are just a bunch of unintelligent baboons who would most likely if they fell in a barrel of tits would come out sucking their thumbs .....

Use USPS or UPS

I went to FedEx Kinkos in Monroeville, PA on February 10, to mail a package to my daughter in New York. I was told that it would be 11 dollars for 2 days or 42.70 for overnight. The package didn't get there until 2 days later. I called numerous times and they kept saying to get a refund over the 11 dollars. They kept saying I needed an invoice even though I had a receipt. Then I was directed to their website to file a claim. The automatic system told me I gave them the wrong address even though my daughter received the package. I had to go through my credit union to get my money back.

Most useless delivery service

Every parcel I have ever received from fedex has arrived days after the scheduled date of delivery. Even when I get alerts saying it will be delivered today, I make sure somebody is home at all times but it never arrives. Worst delivery service I've ever used. I'm still currently waiting for a ÂŁ3000 delivery and the scheduled date keeps changing. If I had a choice I'd never want to receive anything delivered by fedex again. Even the phone line service is AI and only telly you what you can already see online. Can never speak to a person. Useless. Don't know how they're still in business.

Unreliable and no possibility to communicate with them. The package I had ordered with international shipping to Greece never arrived - fedex noted on the amazon order that they shipped the package to a different city.... So I tried to communicate with Fedex through their automated system - I got an automated reply and of course still no package arrived. A couple of months later, I received an invoice (dated a month earlier) to pay customs costs - in the letter they don't state why I owe them. I paid that cost. Now I am still receiving letters to pay them, otherwise they will send the bill to a collecting company... And of course there is no possibility to contact them, and ask the obvious question: why are you charging me? Because obviously it is for an item they never delivered. This is absolutely frustrating.Obviously this is a dysfunctional company, and personally I don't want to deal with them again in the future.

Nearly 2 weeks late delivering and with little to zero notifications. Tacking absolutely awful and when finally delivered the outer carton and inner cartons look like they have been sat in a puddle!!! Awful

I paid almost $40 to have a package delivered, it was not picked up by for 4 days and stated that it will take two weeks to get over five states. It is supposed to be delivered today but it doesn't even show a delivery en route. There's absolutely no one to talk to and the phone tree system is the most insipid system I have ever experienced in my life. This company needs to go away.
