Rip Off service call !
Rip Off service call !! the call centre incorrectly charged me $299 -- it failed to offer the callout+parts fee ($165+parts)..for my simple repair job. A request for an $84 partial refund has been refused. the technician was fantastic and arrived on time and completed my simple repair promptly -- The contact centre are a rip off -- Don't book by phone!!

Never buy any IKEA or Electrolux…
Never buy any IKEA or Electrolux appliance! Currently about to go through QCAT.Bought an Ikea cooktop which stopped working in October. Every appointment, the Electrolux technician cancels on the day of the appointment. 6 cancelled appointements so far. He attended 1 and couldn't fix it. I suspect the tech who services this area sees the job in the morning and cancels it. He told me that his job is safe as Electrolux don't have enough technicians.

Worst customer service. If you have a warranty issue, good luck.
By far the worst customer service experience I have ever had.In a nutshell:- It took Electrolux 7 MONTHS to resolve a faulty induction cooktop for a Westinghouse freestanding oven that was not working on delivery.- Despite our electrician and the first Electrolux service agent saying it was a circuitboard issue, Electrolux claimed it was because our kitchen wiring wasn't big enough, forcing us to rewire our kitchen just to prove it was NOT the cause of the issue (cost $2000).- After finally accepting the second service agent's report that it was a circuitboard issue, Electrolux told us the new oven was "on its way" or "in the distribution centre to be delivered to us within weeks" for 4 MONTHS.- After our issue was 'escalated' (which means virtually nothing), and I was told for the umpteenth time that our oven was "in the warehouse", the guy sheepishly told me that the oven was actually always on back order and was never in stock, let alone, "in the warehouse". It would not be available for another 6 weeks.- I was finally able to secure a new oven from somewhere in the murky Electrolux logistic system through our third Electrolux service agent (a third party operator) who was able to secure one through their own contacts at the Distribution Centre.- I must have spoken to at least 20 different Electrolux 'customer service' agents. Each one promised so much but just fobbed me off or told me what I wanted to hear (the oven is on its way).- The system is set up to frustrate the customer. There is no 'manager' you can speak to, there is no way of appealing a rejected warranty claim, when they take your details and promise to "get back to you within 48 hours" they don't get back to you at all. This happened to me at least 5 times.- I asked for compensation for the time, grief and expense I endured but the 'escalation' person couldn't offer me anything except their apologies, which means very little when you've not had a functioning cooktop for 7 months and you've been forced to spend $2000 rewiring your kitchen so you don't have to spend $4000 on another oven.If your Westinghouse/Electrolux product works, good for you, I hope you enjoy it. But if it doesn't work you've got a very frustrating struggle ahead.

No longer supports IKEA appliances that Electrolux manufactured
I purchased the RENGJORD dishwasher from Ikea in Oct, 2022. Electrolux is the manufacturer of this appliance and after a year or two, pegs in the cutlery basket broke off and there is a hole that goes through the plastic in the button interface on the top of the dishwasher. Just basic stuff that is failing with normal use. I got in touch with an Electrolux customer service rep and was informed that they no longer support appliances they made that were distributed through Ikea. How convenient!! They won't even honor their own warranty on their website re: dishwashers they've made. Avoid at all costs. I'm never purchasing one of their appliances because their customer care is abysmal.

Junk level quality
Bought a washer/dryer combination. It does the job, washing/drying results are acceptable. However, build quality feels extremely cheap, I doubt it'll last long.More importantly, even though it has a fluff filter, the filter is not used by the drying cycle - it uses your grey-water system as a trashcan, which is fatal for filters and valves down the line.

I purchased a cooker from DID on 28th…
I purchased a cooker from DID on 28th Nov 25. It arrived shortly after.I got it installed.Unfortunately there was a bad weld which perished on the top pot support grill. We created a support case with DID.They informed Electrolux. After a number of phone calls to DID we were finally told that Electrolux were sending a new part. The part only arrived 3 weeks ago.It was a rong part that didnt fit at all.It was obviously made for a different model .We let DID know. Then we rang Electrolux ourselfs. It took a couple of phone calls.Electrolux then agreed to send the right part. The part arrived today. The rong side again. Also a docket saying that the right part was out of stock and was to follow. We rang DID again and just awaiting a call back.We then rang Electrolux. The answers we got was that it was a curior problem. Then when I asked how long it would take to get the part the reply was we have no idea. The operator said that she would send an email to management.I asked when would I get a reply. The answer from the operator was I have no idea.I said could it be 6 months or a year. The answer again from the operator was I have no idea. The parts are made in Germany.I then said if theres no idea of when I can get the part maybe I should get a refund. The operator said to get on to DID and let them know. This I did.The guy who is looking after my case is off today and a note is left for him to ring me tomorrow. I have found DID good .It seems that Electrolux has landed them a problem.Updated results to follow.Got no callback from DID today.I phoned DID again. The operator that answered said that the guy dealing with my case is busy and will call me back.No call back so far.

When a Global Brand Withdraws Solutions After a Consumer Seeks Legal Protection
This article documents a consumer experience involving after-sales service, with the intention of highlighting ethical concerns rather than attacking any individual. My washing machine was sent to an authorized service center only for routine cleaning due to long-term use. After service, it was returned completely non-functional.During follow-up handling, non-original spare parts were installed. I was later asked to state to headquarters that the parts were original. I refused. The machine remained unusable for nearly two years, despite repeated assurances.Only after escalation to the company’s global office was fault acknowledged. A replacement was offered, but with lower capacity than the original unit. I declined.I requested only a refund of the service cost, which was initially rejected. An upgrade option was later offered in writing, then withdrawn after I exercised my legal right through a formal consumer protection process. While the legal ruling was eventually implemented, the withdrawal of previously communicated solutions raises an important question:Does exercising consumer legal rights reduce access to good-faith resolutions?Transparency and consistency are fundamental to consumer trust. This experience is shared in the hope that it contributes to reflection and improvement.

This is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced
I have been trying to arrange a technician to repair washer machine since December 28, 2025. Over the course of three weeks, I have called 12 times, yet I still cannot get the simplest issue resolved - for a proper service request to be submitted so that the repair company can come and finally fix the washer.

Electrolux Appliances
I am a Home Depot customer, I own rental properties, and I have been using GE appliances for the past few years. On this occasion, my stove, which is only a few months old, is malfunctioning and not working. I had my electrician check the electrical connection, and everything is fine. We have been in contact with the manufacturer for about five weeks, and they keep rescheduling the repair appointment.I don't think this company is reliable.

Electrolux & RXO Damaged Replacement Fiasco
Decided to spend the $2500+ on a washer-dryer with what I thought would be a quality long lasting set from a reputable higher end company. Ordered on Nov 30 with an install on Dec. 18. Our washer and dryer were both badly damaged by the RXO delivery team during installation from the metal buckles on the lifting straps. I even told the guys accidents happen. However, from there it is up to the customer to reconcile the problem. RXO takes no responsibility. This is where is gets exhausting and hours on hours of phone calls, chats, emails and DM's. Electrolux outsources everything and releases ownership once it leaves their warehouse. You will deal with a minimum of 4 outsourced agents. The warehouse agent, shipping agent, delivery team agent and customer service agent. There is no backend that integrates with the agents, so when you call the non-existent customer service they will have you relay all the same order details and history and put you on hold for a minimum of 50 minutes just to come back and say they are looking into it, their system is always down and will get back with you, which of course they do not. In the meantime, they have sat on our $2500+ drawing interest. Had I seen all the poor customer service reviews all over the internet, I would never had made this purchase. I have emailed several times that I will pursue a chargeback for non delivery if no update. As of Jan. 13, 2026 still no replacement or update!

ElectroSux
I am shocked to see that Electrolux has an A+ rating on BBB, given the amount of negative reviews this company has received, both on BBB and here on TrustPilot. I placed an order for the 600 Series Electric Washer and Dryer on Sep 23, 2025. I paid $98.00 for Professional Installation. Both of my machines were installed incorrectly. The first issue was with the washer. When we ran the first loads, the washer would shake violently. So much so that it damaged the walls and baseboards in my new construction home. After a LOT of online research, someone suggested I check if the shipping bolts were still in the back of the washer. Upon checking, I found all of the 5" shipping bolts still intact—each with yellow tags stating "remove before first wash". Given I paid for professional installation, this should've been taken care of. Upon removing them, the shaking was immediately remedied, but my washer now hums with every load, and I had to pay someone to repair my walls. When I reached out to Electrolux about this, I was told there was nothing they could do and that they would not refund the installation cost. Now the dryer. For the last few months, it has made this horribly loud "wind" noise. I have tried a few things to troubleshoot it, but nothing has helped. It wasn't until I pulled the dryer out (for the wall repair) that I noticed that the entire area behind the washer and dryer was covered in lint. Upon pulling the dryer out completely, we found that the dryer vent hose was never connected to the dryer! I never thought to check this because I thought it was a given that this piece be installed, especially when I PAID FOR professional installation!I am so disappointed in this company and its lack of customer service. Had I known this would be my experience with them, I never would have paid the "luxury" price for these machines.

Bad customer communication.
My Westinghouse microwave stopped so I rang the service centre to book home service. They took the age and model number, told me it was serviceable and booked me in saying someone would ring 1/2 hour before arrival. Waited in all day and rang them late afternoon to be told they had no technician trained to service it and to find a local serviceperson. Surely a phone call to cancel would not be too much to ask.

Faulty Frigidaire Gallery Oven/Microwave
We bought a Frigidaire Gallery oven / microwave combo for $3,500. 13 months later (slightly past the warranty date) the oven went dark. Subsequent investigations revealed they're selling this appliance with a known defect where the microwave switch doesn't align properly, which blows the fuse. We spent an additional $400 and 6 months wait time to get it fixed, only for it to blow again 6 months later. Both occurred over Christmas 2024 and 2025. As I write this, we are once again without an oven or microwave!Electrolux is basically telling us "boo hoo, not our problem".

Not a good service company
We bought a Frigidaire refrigerator in June 2025. The ice maker worked for 3 weeks. It has been serviced 8 times since then and still does not work. The service company, Electrolux, is inept and refuses to admit that it's defective, so Frigidaire refuses to replace it. I spent almost $1,500.00 of hard earned money, pinching nickels and dimes to make ends meet so that I could buy this name brand refrigerator, and I think it should work for more than three or four days before needing another service call. I had a service call scheduled today. I'm home recovering from surgery and wasn't able to get to the door very quickly, so the technician left and refused to come back. Electrolux service insisted that I had to wait until the next service date, a week away. They're supposed to call or text before they come, but he didn't. Even if he did, he probably couldn't have fixed it any better than the other techs, and I'm tired of fighting an ice maker. There are only 2 people in my house and we both work full time, so it's not like the ice maker gets a lot of use, but it should at least work when we need it to. Otherwise, why even have it? I want a refund, not a new unit. It's obvious they're defective! No one at Frigidaire OR at Electrolux will do anything about this!! Buyers beware!

Their warranty is useless
Their warranty is useless. Paid $1200 for a Frigidaire Gallery Induction cooktop on October 9, 2025. It blew up Christmas day. Serviceman came out Jan 2nd - ordered 2 new boards, may take 2 weeks to get them. Often won't respond to touch to light it. Won't let us exchange for upgrade with knobs ($500 more) so we are stuck with a lemon and no cooktop to use.

Nasty Unhelpful Repair Guy
Our 72" freezer door came damaged and the electrolux quickly sent a new door. However, the replacement took for ever. The repair guy in Houston area (Aliasandr Alex) refused to reverse the door to open from right, although it was a simple hinge replacement as he was putting the new door. Additionally, he refused to haul away the old door. Bad attitude and inconsiderate repair service just the second day in new year!

Electrolux doesn’t cover clothing…
Electrolux doesn’t cover clothing damaged by a defective unit. I bought a laundry tower from Costco, but the washer was faulty and snagged all my delicate clothes, causing about $2,000 in damage. This was discovered just six days after purchase and later confirmed by their service technician. I can’t believe how uninformed the customer service department is—after six months of emails and calls, they told me that once you wash your clothes, they’re considered worthless, so they won’t cover damage caused by their defective machine. I still have all the damaged clothing, bedding and receipts for some of it. I would not recommend this company

Electrolux Third Party Service
Called Electrolux and advised that our washing machine was leaking and they referred us to APL Service. We called them to set up the a visit and had to pay a $350 deposit in advance. Before they came we called them and advised we needed a new solenoid valve machine and advised the part number so they could be sure to bring one.An individual showed up after three days in a private sedan and said we needed a new valve and should be back in about three days. After five days we called both Electrolux and APL 4-5 times and got the same story that the part had not arrived. After 10 business days we ask that the order be cancelled and ordered the part on-line receiving it in one day and installing it in 45 minutes. We ask Daniel at APL for a refund and after much conversation he said we should get the deposit back but maybe with a deduct of $150 for the initial visit. To date we have not received any refund or communications.
