Always the same story with canyon. Great bike but terrible service. I broke a crankset on a bike I bought in 2016. So I contacted them to know what piece I could buy and where to find it. They just answered they had no idea and try on bike24 and alltricks… as if I did not try that. So instead I reached to Miranda (the crankset manufacturer) and they proposed me in no time a piece to replace it. How can canyon not think of that solution… so I am terribly disappointed by them once again.. but will eventually buy a bike from them next time because their bikes are so cheap for the quality…

My experience with buying from Canyon…
My experience with buying from Canyon is very good. The online system is easy to use. The tracking of your order is also easy and you know where your order is all the time. The delivery of your order is well packed. Assembly of the parts is also made easy. The only issue that I experienced with both the orders were some small bolts that were missing. On the 1st bike I could not assemble the shifter due to a broken small screw inside the mounting bracket. I had to remove the broken piece and the replace the screw. On the 2nd bike. I could not fit the front light because the bolt was missing. I had to find a bolt at a local store this fit the light. It seems that the quality control for dismantling the bikes for packing before shipping is not well checked to ensure all small bolts and screws are send with the bikes and that nothing is damaged.

The bike is great. I really appreciate the promotion offered by the customer service rep. Some of the instructions (both written and video) are not up to date (e.g. the rear wheel was not mounted). One thing that irked me is that I needed a cockpit mount for my Wahoo, but I wasn’t aware of that when I ordered the bike. So I had to place a second order, and since it didn’t meet minimum cost, I had to pay around $14 shipping. Not a huge deal, but it would have been nice if the cockpit mount was at least a suggested accessory.

I have bought three Canyons and I am - NO MORE
I have bought three Canyons and I am likely done with them. Chat support, kicks you to a link with a phone number, that says put a claim in online. For simple replacement part question, I don't want to go through multiple steps. Also, I asked for several months for replacement park that I had to get in Europe. I live in the US. My family just made a new bike purchase and it was NOT Canyon. They don't care enough to correct this ongoing issue.

Really bad warranty politics
Really bad warranty politics. I bought a fram, i have the invoice and they dont give warranty simpli because they put a sticker that has the serial number on it. Since it desapear they say that they cannot prove that frame is mine. Ridiculous to say the least.

Purchased a Grizl last year and found it to fit perfectly right out of the box. Have enjoyed it since. For my GF's 60th b-day I purchased a 105 equipped Endurace for her and a sram equipped Endurace for myself. We love our bikes as they ride great, are super comfortable and, again, perfect right out of the box.

Good experience at Canyon
Gavin was very helpful helping me select the right bike for me. Order and purchase was smooth after I created an account. I didn’t give highest rating just because I received an erroneous email saying my bike was ready but I needed an appointment to pick up for a “bike fit”. I was just picking up, it wasn’t a problem when I just showed up. Reserved parking spots there are huge since parking is limited in the complex.

Ordering was easy. The size guide was accurate. The instruction videos make it easy to assemble your bike and the tools are included. After much research and comparison I picked Canyon for the top end components and high tech design for a great price. Lack of a local dealer is a bid concerning however if you are a seasoned cyclist you can handle the build and get a great deal. I ordered Look pedals and installed them myself. So now I get to ride the same brand as Mathieu van der Poel and his Alpecin-Primer Tech team mates. I am loving it so far.
